Carson Alpine Range:
The Carson Alpine Range is a group of mountains located near the southern pole of greenleaf. The polar latitude combined with the extreme height creates one of the few environments on Greenleaf that has receives annual snowfall. Planetary wind patterns bring heavy precipitation, with plentiful rains in the summer and heavy snow in the winter. The plant life in the region has shown remarkable adaptability. The region is considered a boreal rainforest, although some members of the science community want to have the region given a unique classisification of a "polar rainforest."
