Nikki Montoya - A wannabe street car racer

High Concept (Gonzo): Teen-aged Grease-Monkey with Dreams of Street Racing Nikki is a self-taught car mechanic and has worked on her older brother's cars for a while now. She wants to get in on the action and be drag racer herself, but her over-protective brother, Carlos, has been telling her to wait and not to get involved with the gangs that run the illegal races.

Trouble: Not Gonna Back Down Until I'm in the Big Leagues! Nikki really wants to be behind the wheel of the rigs that she fixes. Her brother has kept an eye out for her (until recently...) and manages to grab her and drag her home when she secretly joins a street race against his wishes. (Carlos seemed to have an uncanny sense for when Nikki was planning trouble.) Nonetheless, Nikki's gonna be Queen o'the Street Racers and God help anyone who tries to stop her.

Call to Action:

One evening, a few months ago, Nikki's brother Carlos was racing in a big local match with quite a few top drivers from out of town. The cars were racing past the old abandoned stadium when there was a strange flash of green light in the sunset. Suddenly all the cars seemed to veer out of control and crash. When everyone ran to the accident, they found all the cars wrecked, but no sign of the drivers. It was as if they all vanished and the cars just careened into each other driverless. The police didn't seem to be all that interested. "So some hoodlums with criminal records skipped town and abandoned their crappy hotrods? Not our problem."

Other rival gangs denied being involved and seemed kind of spooked about the whole thing. No one knows what happened and no one cares besides the drivers' families. Nikki has sworn she will find out what happened to her brother and vowed revenge on anyone who may have hurt him.

Stunts:

Gearhead: When repairing or modifying a vehicle, you can use Drive instead of Gadgetry (Wheelman)

One Hand on the Wheel: While both operating a vehicle and wielding a firearm, you can spend a fate point on your turn to roll with Shoot without spending an action. (Wheelman)

Say That Again: When you defend against an attack based on fear or intimidation and succeed with style, you can deal a 2-shift mental hit to the attacker instead of getting a boost. (Brawler)

Gonzo Stunt - Level 1: "Is this the Drive-Thru Entrance?" Before a fight begins, you can declare that you arrive in dramatic style with a vehicle no matter where the fight is: on a ship you scrounge up a motorboat to crash on the deck, in a 60-story building you take your car up the freight elevator of a neighboring building and drive through the windows into the fight next door, on a plane you find a vehicle in the cargo hold and swing through the air attached by a cable to crash into the cabin, etc. Doing so gains you a freely invoke-able Aspect: "Is this the Drive-Thru Entrance?" (Wheelman - custom made stunt)

Gonzo Stunt - Level 2: "Ghost-Rider's Got Nothin' on Me!" A mash-up of the Wheelman: "Rev it Up" stunt and the Brawler: "Send More Mooks" stunt. Rev It Up: When in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, you gain +2 to Provoke an NPC in the driver’s seat of another vehicle. Send More Mooks: Mobs that attack you do not get the teamwork bonus, but they still get it when they defend against you. Basically, when you show up in a vehicle, you can Provoke +2 anyone present regardless if they are a driver or pedestrian, and any mooks present don't get teamwork bonuses due to your intimidating entrance and growling engine - even if you get out of the car and fight hand-to-hand.
