Some of the act-level rules were uncertain during the first two epochs. The draw rules were also different, leading to more uneventful epochs. The populations have been retconned.

The Elves[edit]

The elves had an uneventful first epoch, leading to some religious complacency. In response, Sun appeared as a glowing dragon and cast a reproachful look over the village before leaving again. This lead them to view Sun as a dragon, and to incorporate dragon imagery into their buildings and crafts.

Sun also granted the elves the ability to cast light at will.

At the end of the first epoch, the elves numbered 450.

The Mercatfolk[edit]

The mercatfolk also had an uneventful epoch, though Moon didn't do anything special to bolster their beliefs. During this time Moon created fibrous plants that could be later used for paper making.

At the end of the first epoch, the mercatfolk also numbered 450.

The Tengu[edit]

The tengu spent their first epoch building a central town. Order gave them some (currently unspecified) commandments and appointed a high priest. He then used an act of power to firmly plant the idea of a theocracy in the minds of the tengu.

At the end of the first epoch, the tengu also numbered 450.

The Pixies[edit]

The pixies spent most of their first epoch uneventfully, but they began to worship the ocean in addition to the wind, which began to give Moon some extra belief. Chaos chose a firm believer is the old ways and gave him a vision. He taught this one pixie the ways of the wind and showed him how seeds could travel for long distances using its power. He also granted the faithful pixies the ability to use prestidigitation at will.

At the end of the first epoch, the pixies also numbered 450.
