Humans[edit]

Humans are largely from the Solar System, with Sol declared as neutral ground. They are often described as rash or curious. Human beings are primarily of Solar descent, but not always. The humans control several major factions in Space: including the Republic (Americans), Caithness (British), Deutchland (Germans), Nihon (Japanese), the Corsairs (humans of Black American descent who were led into those systems of space seeking "Black Freedom"), and the Outcasts (humans of Hispanic Descent). Rumors tell of a Soviet Union in space (Russians) but they must have colonized space outside the 50 L.y. sphere.

Humans in New Space have all tried various eugenics programs, and have sought to build Utopias of human culture (the Corsairs being a notable example). They also tried various genetic programs to increase the quality of their genetic stock. For the Most part, this is reflected in the Stat Bonuses shown:

Physical Characteristics[edit]

Evolution: Evolutionists state that Humans evolved from monkey stock, while Creationists maintain that humans were created by God. They are cursorial hunters, omnivores, and diurnal.

Build: Males average 80 kg, females average 60 kg.

Coloring: Mostly earth tones.

Height: Males average 185 cm; Females, 170 cm.

Life Span: 200 years with proper medical attention.

Resistance: Normal.

Special Abilities: None.


Culture[edit]

Clothing and Decoration: Huge range of fashions. Humans are notorious for their fashion trends.

Fears and Inabilities: Some say that they are fearless, but they have a foolish penchant around all of them.

Lifestyle: Basically normal. Humans are seen to be compulsive about following a task to completion.

Marriage Pattern: Humans at large are monogamous with some practicing limited monogamy, compulsive monogamy, polygamy, polyamory, and polyamorous relationships. Although the definition of the word "family" varies from planet to planet (and on the Cyberpunk planets the word has a flexible definition), generally it is thought of being composed of a Father/Husband, Mother/Wife, and the Children.

Religion: Varies among cultures. Generally, they all center around a single, charismatic prophet.
