IAV Trafalgar
IAV Trafalgar is a Tohoku Class Cruiser, one of the six in active duty. It was one of the three to suffer catastrophic pulse engine failure early into its transfer flight from the Kalidasa System to Georgia System. It got about 10AU before the system suffered complete shut down, stranding the massive vessel nearly more than a year and half away from the nearest planet.
After it was deemed impossible to repair the vessel in deep space, plans were made for a 'Step Down' in duties. Ships began to transfer its personnel and duties to Beaumonde or other vessels. Since the ship was in transfer mode anyway, this will be somewhat easier than were it to happen during normal system tours.
Initially the ship will transfer non-essential personnel, military and civilian command operations to other sites or vessels, once the ship has been placed in a stable orbit around Kalidasa, those services and stations may return.
