Interfaces abilities have been with him sense his birth, He never got to ride in a car as a youngster as, around him, they would never start. His family had to live almost in the dark ages, as no electronic devises would work around the toddler. As he grew older he was able to turn the field off and lead a more normal life, but normal, in the age of the computer was very subjective.

He has never met a pay phone that he had to pay to make a call and the same was true of ATM's, they would just give him the money if only he asked. It was during a trip though the mall that his life took a bad turn. He needed some extra money so he went to the ATM and got an extra forty dollars, however the man behind him was an undercover policeman. He was arrested and convicted of the theft of forty dollars and was sentenced to six months.

The conviction will stay with him for the rest of his life, getting a job as a computer programmer was out. If he was going to be a criminal in the eyes of the law, then why not go all the way?

He doesn't make a very good villain, getting away with the cash is not something that he is interested, he can have as much money as he ever wanted just by manipulating bank records, there was not really anything that he wants to steal. His abilities to manipulate electronic data has brought him to the attention of the government, they are taking him very seriously.
