JCOM Phantoms of Mars

This campaign is set later in the Jeddak of Jeddaks era. A grand alliance now exists between Helium, Ptarth, Kaol, Gathol, the Thark Horde, Omean, Kadabra, and recently, Manator, Duhor, Phundahl, and even some of the ghastly Kaldanes with their Rykors from Bantoom, all brought about or inspired by John Carter. While there is a tentative peace between Helium and Zodanga, relations are cordial at best and there is much resentment and fear throughout Zodanga about the large alliance. Additionally, some other nations of Red Barsoomians are rumored to continue to oppose the alliance as well, maintaining their faith in Issus and resenting the blasphemous atrocities against their religion, although there is no open opposition from Zodanga or any other nation as yet. Further, there are whispers of dissatisfied factions of First Born, Therns and Okarians who seek vengeance against John Carter for the social upheaval he has caused and who desire the dissolution of all the alliances he has forged. THis is the setting in which the campaign will take place.
