The Jaguar has been around for as long as anyone in the village could remember, who would change into the beast, now that was always different.

His familiy had always carried the curse. It stated that the oldest member of the family line would change into the "an uncontrollable beast that would destroy all around them"

In the Central American country of his birth, drug lords were starting to take over and many of the families that survived on the few acres of land they had were forced to give up their land or "disappear"

His parents sent him to America in an attempt to keep him out of the violence, it worked for a few years. One night, after not hearing for him familiy for three weeks, he was attacked by a mugger late at night. The Jaguar made its first appearance that night and killed his attackers.

Knowing what had happened, he called home and got no answer. Spending his last dollar, he bought a ticket home. The village was burned to the ground, his home was a pile of ashes. His family was gone, it was just him now. The Jaguar came out and destroyed the locale drug lord, he took the money, and flew back to his new home.

He joined the Champions as in investigator, and as a active member as Jaguar
