Young lady of means and a broken heart. Twin to Sylvia Aston.
Sylvia was the pretty one, the clever one, the artistic one. Evie got by being well-behaved, by studying hard, eventually by marrying. Robert Hewart was a good man, a wealthy one too. Evie grew to love him but he was not to stay long in this world.
