STORY

A trail from the assassination attempt on the Crown Prince leads to Pourisse. The assassin was killed in the attempt, but carried a token of a purple dagger, indicating he is a member of a small guild of assassins reputedly based in Pourisse. Jurgis' goal is to find the Guild and learn who contracted the assassin.

1) Sarmatian Commonwealth, from eastern Curonia.
2) Jurgis is at the average 5'6 height, pale and black-haired like most other Curonians, and wears practical trousers and heavy boots, but as part of his cover, wears the trademark long crimson coat and black sash of Sarmatism.
3) Jurgis emphasizes a tad of Curonian accent, again to keep up his cover image.
4) Jurgis' goal first and foremost, is to help make a greater Commonwealth, bringing it out of the paralysis and into the nation it could be.
5) Jurgis is a capable swordsman and a jack of various trades. But this means he's a master of none. Also, while he's trained to use his words as much as weapons, thick intricacies of etiquette do annoy and wear him down.
6) Jurgis enjoys his native cusines, but extremely spicy or rich foods upset his stomach.

17) Jurgis is a syncretic Vaticine and native beliefs. He loathes the Inquisition however, and Cardinal Verdugo. One of the things he skeptically asks (but never in public or to someone less than trusted) "If this is the time of the Fourth Prophet, where is he? Does Verdugo think he's the Fourth?"
18) Jurgis is a member of the Duelist's Guild, more secretly he is also a member of Los Vagabundos. His and their beliefs and goals align greatly.
