Training Points: 4

Gear: stout staff of elm

Arag is a burly and rotund man of Scata. He has been enlightened since his days of a bar room brute and shown the true way. He is not seen with his traditional kirta, favoring instead the roughspun red-brown habit of the followers of Reaneaki. He spends his days wandering, sharing the wine among folk in lack, and generally getting himself tossed from the establishments that prefer not to compete with his kind.

DUNCAS, MALACHITE WALL[edit]

Training Points 1

History: Even as a poor kid, Duncas displayed the courage and compassion that would one day lead him to the Malachites. Throughout his life, Duncas has been a symbol of good that not only helps those in need, but also inspires them and makes everyone find their own strength. These gifts were recognized by a Malachite Tower, who invited the boy into the order when he was sixteen. Duncas found in the Malachites the proper venue to express his mission in life and soon rose in the ranks: from Vambrace apprenticeship, to Shield knighthood, to the more experienced stage of a Wall. At 28 years of age, Duncas is one of the youngest Walls of the order. Despite believing firmly in his ideals and mission, the knight cannot help but feel an emptiness inside, as if something is missing from his life... The warmth of companionship? Perhaps love…

Gilderon Haertzel von Moire[edit]

Fortune Dice: 2
Virtue: Chivalry
Vice: Womanizer

Expert [+4] Charming (Gallant Knight)
Good [+2] League of Groth

Poor [-2] Romantic Sucker

Damage/Story Hooks:

Gear: Fine through somewhat worn clothes, lute, short sword, bow and arrows

Training Points:

Gil is a sparklingly pretty bishie boy with princely bearing and elegant manner, a bit of an oddity among the crowd of assorted mercenaries and vagabonds he tends to associate with. He's technically the rightful heir of the Prince of Moire, but has abdicated preemptively in favor of his younger brother (who doesn't want the crown either), preferring by far the romantic life of a wandering minstrel over the responsibilities of a ruling monarch.

Zheng Zhidan[edit]

Fortune Dice: 2

Virtue: Discipline
Vice: Secretive

Good [+2] Homeland: Tek Wei
Expert [+4] Heroic: Thief (Silent as a Shadow)
Good [+2] Past: The Hidden Hand

Good [+2] Knife Fighter (Where did that knife go?)
Good [+2] Acrobatics (Which way did he go?)
Good [+2] Locks and Traps

Poor [-2] Intimidating

Damage/Story Hooks (Hidden Hand; healed but 1st damage rank done)

Gear assorted throwing/fighting blades, soft leather armor (dyed black), lockpicks/tools, rope/grapnel, misc. adventuring gear (all Average <+0> quality)

Training Points: 2

Orphaned at an early age Zheng lived on the streets for some time, surviving by petty thievery and his wits. He gained the attention of The Hidden Hand with his ability at remaining unseen and infiltrating secure areas. He was brought into the Hand and received formal training in exchange for his loyalty and the use of his talents for the enrichment of The Hidden Hand. He mastered the shadow arts and the complimentary skills that go hand in hand with it. His focus and drive allowed him to learn quicker than many of the others. Unfortunately the same focus and drive as well as his years on the street kept him from forming close bonds with other members. It was difficult to get anything out of him that he did not wish to share and little was known about his private activities. Although he was not an unpleasant person his remaining withdrawn from others and the nature of the tasks he completed lent to him an aura that unnerved the average person who was unwilling to look past surface appearances. He eventually finished his training and petitioned to be allowed to head out to seek his own fortune, with the knowledge that if needed The Hidden Hand could contact him if a contract came up for his services. Zheng took his blades, leathers, and other tools of his trade with him and set out west to see what experiences lay before him.

Roll of the Gods[edit]

Reaneaki[edit]

Also known as "the Servant of Eaki", he belongs to the College of the Hearth, and his attributes include specifically forgotten knowledge, epiphanies, and special liquids. He is the lord of good drink and the importance of the role of liquids in fertility. His followers tend to be an outspoken lot.
