Myrmidon[edit]
Alias: Joseph O'Hara Based on: Achilles, legendary warrior, great grandson of Zeus
Though he wasn't a God, Achilles was destined to be 'a son greater than his father' which caused Zeus and Poseidon to shy away from wooing the water nymph, Thetis. Even so, one legend tells of him being held in the river styx by his mother, save for his ankle, and becoming nigh on invulnerable in battle, a legend, even amongst Greek Heroes at the battle of Troy.

Supreme Warrior (along the lines of peak human e.g. Captain America - save with a rapid healing factor or protective power with the weakness that it protects all save his heel)
Background[edit]
Joseph O'Hara had it rough growing up, like many children. An illegitimate birth and devout, disapproving family saw the young mother at her lowest ebb, seeking an end to her own life and her infant sons by drowning in the river. At the last moment she relented, though she herself had taken on too much water, and holding the limp form aloft as best she could whilst she drowned. A passing policeman, Damon O'Hara, tried his best to rescue the pair, but could only pull the youngster free, the mothers lifeless form floating away. O'Hara called it in and the child was handed over to an orphanage. He and his own wife had struggled for years to have a child of their own, and he felt a bond with the infant. Though they struggled through red tape and bureaucracy, they adopted the child and he instilled in the youngster powerful values of honour, trust, battling for what was right and never giving in. The youngster also took on something of his adopted fathers rage, never backing down from a fight and always sticking up for the underdog. A born natural fighter, beautiful in form and appearance, and seemingly invincible with a never say die attitude, O'Hara would've taken up a career in boxing save for his sense of fair play - his opponents seemed clumsy, slow and never to strike true against him, whereas he was able to dispatch them with ease, even those slightly above his age group.
Young O'Hara was a rebel, railing against authority, yet drawing peers to him as a leader. He both frustrated and disappointed his tutors at school, especially when he dropped out. Working in the docks, he lugs loads about all day and has a fine chiselled physique. He also inherited a cheeky irish way with the ladies, whilst bareknuckle fighting at night to earn extra on the side.
