Fate was cruel to the girl that would become Libra. Her parents were killed when a fight between a Superhero and a Supervillain spilled over into the restaurant they where in. The hero did not know that the young couple left and orphan. She grew up on the streets, begging for food and getting into drugs.

She was "recruited" into the adult movie business at the age fourteen, she had no childhood. When she saw an add in the paper about a research company looking for research volunteers, she could not pass it up. When she got there she learned that she would be exposed to radiation and watched for signs of change in her body. That was great, maybe she would get super powers, or maybe her life would end, either way was fine with her.

She stayed at the research center for three years and then was released after showing no signs of mutation. He smiled to herself as she left, it was too easy to fool them. She had powers alright and she was going to use them. She hunted down and killed the Superhero that killed her parents and drew the attention of Zodiac in the process. She has joined the group taking the name Libra
