The first world encountered after the family gathering, referred to by the name of the city where the Door can be found. Their arrival appears to have been planned by Isolde. It is a fantasy world with medieval-level technology. Magic is accessible and powerful.
The Glover Estate[edit]

An extremely large mansion that exists at least partially upon Gossamer Earth, but may be its own Gossamer World.
The (Hotel) Room Under the Stairs[edit]

The Room Under the Stairs is technically a Gossamer world, though it appears to be nothing more than a penthouse suite in a fancy hotel, similar to others of its ilk. Roughly 6000 square feet in size, it contains 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, formal dining, kitchen, library, billiards room, and an outdoor terrace. There is a night sky with stars, and an endless featureless landscape hundreds of feet below. The only changes that occur between visits are cleaning and restocking - the beds are always made and the refrigerator and pantry are filled with food and drink. Without a close look at the outside surroundings, it is indistinguishable from a modern-day penthouse suite, even to the point of having internet access and television programming from Gossamer Earth.
