- All ships have a base operational range of 14 days when operating at full crew.
- You can reduce the crew size to proportionally increase the range, up to doubling it. So, a ship operating at 1/2 or less crew complement could stay out for 28 days (one month.)
- Adding extended stores will double those times, but with additive rather than exponential increases for multiple installations.
- So: A ship with Extended Stores x1 can operate 1 month with a full crew, or 2 months with a half crew or less.
- A ship with Extended Stores x2 can operate 6 weeks with a full crew, or 3 months with a half crew.
- Since you guys have a working spaceport on Thalassa now, you really only need Extended Stores x1 on the Lucky Break to make a fully crewed run back and forth from Tenebrous to Thalassa, especially if you can make a refueling stop at Eltanabey.
