    • She is beloved of the military and sympathizes with the plight of the working class due to her own humble origins, but she's made enemies in Footfallen's underworld and the Inquisition has ever had its eye on her.
  • Air of Authority - There's something about Lunamaria that sways onlookers and inspires loyalty.
    • Affect extra 1d10 people with social tests.
  • Ambidextrous - Though the arm she lost was not her dominant one, the training she put herself through to use its bionic replacement made her effectively ambidextrous.
    • Can use both hands without penalty.
  • Bloodtracker - As a recognized member of the Malfian Bloodsworn operating in Port Wander and beyond, Lunamaria commands premium rates when turning in bounties.
    • Gains +100 APs on any Military or Criminal objectives involving the handing over of fugitives for money.
  • Combat Master - More foes simply mean more targets to Luna, who cuts them all down without distinction.
    • Enemies gain no bonus for outnumbering Luna.
  • Counterattack - Long years of gladiatorial battle and blade combat have taught Luna that the best defense is a good offense. She practices a technique derived (actually stolen) from the repertoire of the Crusader House of Weyland, which defends against a strike with a blow of her own.
    • After successfully Parrying an attack, she may make an attack at -20 with the Parrying weapon as a Free Action.
  • Crushing Blow - Lunamaria is versed in the spilling of blood.
    • +2 damage to Melee attacls
  • Double Team - After signing Lilith on as part of her entourage, Lunamaria has spent every evening sparring with the massive woman for at least an hour each time. The two of them have developed several effective combination attacks, some of which can even be used with other battle partners.
    • Gain additional +10 to melee attacks when outnumbering opponents. This bonus increases to +20 if outnumbering opponents with partners that have Double Team.
  • Iron Discipline - Luna's willingness to place herself in the line of fire emboldens those under her.
    • Up to 5 people may reroll WP tests against Fear or Pinning when able to see Luna by any means. When leading a boarding party, she gains +10 to Command tests.
  • Into The Jaws Of Hell - Lunamaria's infectious good cheer and gregariousness can make even the most craven rating a paragon of valor in his zeal to please his mistress.
    • As long as Luna is visible to her minions, they are all immune to Fear and Pinning. Any ship she is on gains +5 Morale.
  • Nerves of Steel - Having charged through bullet storms all her life, Luna finds it easy to override her survival instincts and go for the gold.
    • Luna may reroll failed Pinning tests.
  • Polyglot - Luna's heard just about every form of language spoken in the expanse, and she has a near-intuitive gift for wringing meaning from even the meanest scraps of gobbledygook.
    • Luna treats all languages as Basic Skills; however, she takes a -10 to tests enabled using this Talent due to incomplete understanding.
  • Quick Draw - The concept of "readied" and "stowed" is irrelevant to one of Luna's reflexes.
    • Luna may Ready a Pistol, Basic or one-handed Melee weapon as a Free Action.
  • Rapid Reaction - Luna is almost never caught off guard, even in the most dire situations.
    • Success in an Agility test lets Luna act normally when she is surprised or ambushed.
  • Renowned Warrant - The Haarlock Warrant's name echoes across the length and breadth of the Expanse, and being known as its bearer makes Luna a part of that legend as well.
    • +10 to Interaction Tests with those who understand its significance.
  • Swift Attack - Luna attacks twice as fast as the average man, her flashing blade cutting down all resistance before her.
    • Luna may take the Multiple Attacks action to make 2 attacks.
  • The Reaping - One or a thousand, Luna will kill them all. Entering her reach to attack when she has a blade in hand implies that one is prepared to die trying.
    • As a Full Action, Luna may make a Reaping Blow. Starting from the foe in front of her, she attacks every opponent around her in a clockwise or anticlockwise progression. If an attack misses or is Dodged, it does not stop the Reaping Blow, but Parrying it does.

  • Exceptional Leader - Once per round (or Strategic Turn), Luna may grant any one ally a +10 bonus to any test.

Bionics[edit]

  • BQ Right Bionic Arm:
    • +10 Strength and Agility tests when using arm, small smuggling compartments, +2 TB when attacked
      • When pulling a wounded partner into cover during her bounty hunter days, Luna took several autogun rounds through her arm, shattering the bone in four places. Fighting through the pain, she continued dragging him with her other arm, only allowing herself to collapse in shock when they were both aboard their ship. In appreciation for her help, the group pooled their money together to get her a bionic replacement from the forges of Magos-Genetor Chastel, whose prosthetics are still the talk of the Calixis Sector.

    • Daemon Weapon
    • Binds WP 66 Keeper of Secrets at Binding Strength 3.
    • Has Impossibly Sharp, Vicious, Envenomed Weapon and Swiftness Attributes.
    • Base Weapon BQ Sword
    • Melee, 1d10+7R Pen 6, Balanced, Tearing, Toxic (3), Warp Weapon, grants Unnatural Agility +3 when held, +10 to hit, +10 to parry.
      • This ornate saber-style blade seals within itself the essence of the greater daemon Eleison, a Keeper of Secrets in service to Slaanesh. Its edge is honed beyond any mortal definition of sharpness, making a mockery of armor and cover alike. Victims go to their deaths fountaining blood from improbably deep wounds that are poisoned by the malice of the daemoness within, but they exit the mortal coil in the throes of bliss that is every bit as incapacitating as pain. Lunamaria inherits some of the swiftness of Eleison when she wields it in battle, moving with unnatural swiftness and agility when drawn.

Eleison was forged by Erasmus Haarlock, who summoned the daemon to plunder its secrets of warpcraft and artifice. Eleison was young for a Keeper of Secrets, but had tempted many men to ruin. She saw Haarlock as the latest in a long line of conquests and failed to heed her kin, who whispered stories of the Haarlock line's affinity for bringing daemons to heel. She acquiesced to his initial demands, and he honed his talents with her assistance. The only thing Eleison asked in return was simple favors, enough to distract him from her ulterior motives. In time, she learned that his great drive was all for the sake of his family, but she held that knowledge to her chest in anticipation of the day where it could be used. Eventually, after yet another failed attempt to reach his Answer, Eleison came to him while he was in the depths of despair and took the form of his deceased wife, offering peace and respite if only he would give himself to her.

That was a fatal mistake. Haarlock was despondent, not delusional, and the sight of a daemon taking the face of his wife and profaning her memory with its presence eradicated the melancholy from his soul and replaced it with murderous killing rage. His rancor caught Eleison off guard, and she was trapped in daemon-anathema wards before she knew it, her strength and resistance broken by the eldritch magics Haarlock brought to bear from the deep, dank vaults of his heritage. But even after he destroyed her, his vengeance was not yet finished. He forged Eleison's soul into an exquisite arming sword, which he wore by his side as a living reminder to the daemons he trucked with never to underestimate him. Eleison was abandoned aboard the Spear of Destiny when he finally found his Answer... and now Luna has found it. Although centuries of torment and discipline have cowed the once-rebellious Eleison, she sees Luna as a chance for her final freedom, achieved, ironically enough, by a relative and heir of the one who bound her into a sword in the first place.

  • CQ Sollex-Aegis Energy Blade (hot pink blade)
    • Upgraded with Duelist's Grip, Downgraded with Ammo Glutton
    • Melee, 1d10+6E Pen 7, Clip 10, Reload 3 Full, Balanced, Power Field, Special, +15 to parry, destroys any weapon parried by it if it succeed by 2+ DoS. On a failure of 5+ MoF on any attack or parry roll, the user has struck themselves.
      • This energy blade was part of the payment Luna received from a Mechanicus Magos, for clearing out the hereteks harassing his followers at a dig site. When its activation stud is properly depressed, it emits an intense blowtorch-like beam of purple/pink plasma that destroys all base matter it contacts with contemptuous ease. This particular model is permanently stuck in maximum output mode due to a malfunction, which means that it consumes plasma fuel at twice the normal rate. Luna values this weapon for its concealability, potency and its sheer crowd-pleasing aesthetic.
  • CQ Plasma Pistol
    • Pistol, 1d10+6E Pen 6, Clip 10, Reload 3 Full, Overheat
      • Luna claimed this relic off a crime lord she'd brought in to the Bloodsworn. It is an ancient pattern of plasma pistol, not quite archeotech, but well-made and still serviceable despite centuries of ill-treatment.

Armour[edit]

  • BQ Truesilver Battleplate (functionally equivalent to Kasrkin Stormtrooper Carapace)
    • Rebreather, encrypted microbead, built-in auspex, and photovisors.
    • Mounting points for jump pack and pict-corder
    • Powered by a single lasgun charge pack per week.

      • This suit of exquisitely crafted armor was one of the artefacts Lunamaria recovered from the Haarlock vaults. It is made of a strange truesilver alloy that is as sturdy as military-grade ceramite, and etched with intricate motifs and decorations of an angelic nature. The interlocking plates that comprise its structure are cunningly engineered to be able to stand rigid on their own, yet present no resistance at all t o even the most extreme movements their wearer makes. Its back features coupling points for a cloak and it bears the Haarlock family crest prominently on its chest, suggesting it was meant to be worn as a badge of status as well as a protective garment. By coincidence or design, this suit is perfectly fitted for Luna...

Force Field[edit]

    • Fails only on 1-15
      • No greater personal defense exists than the forcefield, and the Aegis of Vaul ranks among the most potent of their number. Resembling a red bloodstone in a gold setting, the Aegis provides protection matched only by vehicle-scale power fields, which are more commonly found on Knight Titans. Unfortunately, the Aegis is weakened by not being affixed to proper Eldar armor, and thus runs the risk of overloading when resisting an attack. Its ornamental appearance means Luna usually wears it anywhere she goes.

    • Triples move speed without regard for normal obstacles
    • Grants Flyer 15 for up to a minute at a time but requires 1 minute after that to cool down
    • Grants +20 on Interaction Tests where the imagery of fiery angelic wings is appropriate
      • A true relic of the Dark Age of Technology, this jump pack is designed to produce exhaust plumes in the form of fiery wings when used, an awe-inspiring sight even when one does not consider its superior output or its nigh-unlimited power source. Luna's been spending all her time learning how to properly master the secrets of this device.
  • Microbead
      • It allows communication. There's not much else to say.
  • Selenite-pattern heavy void suit
    • 10 hour life support before power cells must be replaced.
    • Includes internal vox-link, grapnel + 10m of line, seal patching kit and photovisor.
    • Provides 3 AP to Arms, Body and Legs, and 4 AP to the Head.
    • -10 penalty to Agility tests when worn
    • Impeller units grant Flyer (6) movement in Low or Zero Gravity.
      • This cumbersome garment is nevertheless Luna's best friend for space operations.
  • Fine Clothing
      • Luna's very best outfit, made to show off her charms and her... charms.
  • Xenopelt cloak
      • Made out of genuine Scrap Dragon hide.
