    • SFX: Sonic Constructs. When creating a sonic-based asset or complication, add a d6 to your dice pool and step up the effect die.
    • SFX: Chorus. Add more than one Sonic Harness power die to your pool for an action. If that action fails, add a die to doom pool for each additional power die equal to the rating of that power die.
    • SFX: Focus. If a pool includes a Sonic Harness power, replace two dice of equal size with one stepped-up die.
    • SFX: Listen to the Sound of My Voice. Step back the highest die in your attack action pool to add a d6 and step up mental stress inflicted.
  • Limit: Gear. Shut down Sonic Harness to gain 1 PP. Take an action vs Doom Pool to recover.
  • Limit: Conscious Activation. If stressed out, asleep, or unconscious, shut down Sonic Harness. Recover Sonic Harness when you recover stress or awaken. If emotional trauma is taken, shut down Sonic Harness until trauma is recovered.

Personal Information[edit]

  • Real Name: Melissa Gold
  • Backstory:

Melissa Gold has had what some would call an "interesting" life, or "exciting". If they were being more honest, they'd probably call it "difficult" at best. A young runaway who joined the Unlimited Class Wrestling circuit, gained sonic-based superpowers, turned to crime, joined the Masters of Evil just in time to help lay siege to Avengers Mansion, lost her powers, gained new sonic powers....it's been a full experience.
Most recently, she was a part of the original Thunderbolts, villains masquerading as heroes following the presumed deaths of the Fantastic Four and most of the Avengers. Surprisingly, though, Songbird discovered that not only was she good at being a hero, she preferred it to villainy! As such, when Baron Zemo revealed the team's villainous origins to the world, Songbird helped to defeat her former leader, then turned herself in to face justice for her crimes. Her heroic deeds led to a lighter sentence than might have been otherwise expected, and she was recently released, having paid her debts to society.
Since then, she's been trying to stay on the straight and narrow. But not many places are willing to hire ex-supervillains, the authorities tend to give her dirty looks when she tries to fight crime, the Avengers weren't returning calls even before they dissolved, and the tempting life of villainy beckons....well, no one said it would be easy being a hero.
