Description:

Not a particularly dependable godess, Madawasafa has been known to grant her clerics and worshipers things they hadn't particularly asked for. Most followers take her "gifts" as a message of some sort, a sort of divine instruction from somebody who obviosly knows better, right?

Worship of Madawasafa is done by collecting tools and materials for some sort of endeavor, be it raising a barn or building a wagon or preparing a siege. After calling upon the godess several times to bless their intended work, the Crafter (as the worshipers are known) goes into a trance where the godess takes possesion of them. During this trance, the Crafter will build something random, regardless of what they were trying to make.

The only thing that can be counted on is that the Crafter will need the item at some point, and using it will raise them in her favor, not using it will slightly irritate her, asking her for something else will probably anger her, and she might send them into a pocket dimension without any supper until they become more grateful.

There is one device she seems to be particularly fond of; the steam powered battering ram. This device is essentially a reinforced boiler on wheels. It is moved or constructed a safe distance from the targeted castle, out of range of its defenses. The ramming end is pointed at the target. Then the steam pressure is built up (magically or mundanely), and then released through a quick release valve. This causes the object to be propelled toward the wall or gate, more or less. This keeps the weilders of the weapon at a safe distance. Except if the first attempt doesn't knock down the wall or gate, then it must be retrieved and brought back to a safe distance again.
