Steve Rogers becomes Captain America
Bob Frank becomes The Whizzer
Bucky Barnes (sidekick to Captain America) forms the Young Allies with pals Knuckles, Jeff, Tubby, and Whitewash Jones. Toro, sidekick to the Human Torch, joins shortly afterward making the Young Allies the first "superteam," even though only two of the members are superheroes.
