Maggie Imai (aka Kitsunetsuki), age seventeen, wound up taking dozens of extracurriculars to please her parents including: eleven years of gymnastics, ten years of taekwondo, eight years of judo, not to mention ten years of ballet, seven years of flute lessons, five years learning basic stage magic and lockpicking, and a bunch of other things that would surprise you to know can come in useful when trying to fight a bank robber. So basically her abilities should be considered martial arts and acrobatics.

Her look is a sleek black bodysuit, a red fabric belt and a white wooden Japanese fox mask concealing her features.

Backstory How did you gain your skills? Like I said, years and years of hard work in order to get extracurriculars prepared for college. My mom's a lawyer, and my dad's a doctor, so they're expecting me to be in pre-law or pre-med or both by the time I graduate high school, and to do that I needed a ton of interesting quirks to keep the admissions people hooked. But if I have all these skills, I may as well apply them. Enter the superhero business!

When did you first put on your costume? I mean, this is kind of a coincidence, but it was Halloween, and I was wearing the costume to a party with my friends when we stopped at a fast food restaurant and this guy came in waving a gun that whirred and lit up. Like I imagine he was a tinker, or someone using a tinker's stuff, but who robs a fast food restaurant with a super-tech railgun or whatever? Everyone was terrified, but somehow I managed to get close and put him in a joint lock and held him until the cops arrived. I managed to save my friends and the workers and other customers, and I thought "why can't I do this all the time?"

Who, outside the team, thinks you shouldn't be a superhero? I mean, the Protectorate obviously doesn't want some non-powered girl running around fighting bank robbers and super-villains, but that seems like a bunch of crap to me.

Why do you try to be a hero? Because it's the most exhilarating thing I've ever done! Everything I've ever been involved with was to make my parents proud of me, but when I'm a hero it's just for me. That sounds selfish, like I'm not thinking about civilians (which I totally do, and I'm pretty good at keeping them in mind, if I say so myself), but it's very freeing to not worry about admissions or tests and just fight people who need to be fought.

Why do you care about the team? People that care about the city should work together, I think. Plus if I'm with people, it's not so scary to be fighting some city-threatening super-villain.

Do Maggie's parents know about her superhero job? If so, what do they think about it? My dad (Ken Imai) absolutely, 100%, does not know about the superhero thing. He basically still treats me like I'm eight, so I think he might genuinely bar me from ever going outside again if he found out anything. He doesn't even know about the Halloween situation. Mom (Suzanne Holmwood Imai), on the other hand, probably at least suspects. She was the one who picked me up from the police station after Halloween, and she works a bunch of criminal court cases (she works for the DA's office of Aman) so she's likely heard a couple defense pleas complaining about the fox-masked girl beating up their clients.

On a similar note, what about the friends she was with when she stopped her first crime in the Halloween costume. Did they recognize the costume when pictures of Kitsunetsuki started appearing in the news? I was out with my friends Briana Roydon, Jackie Edwards and Riley Hanson that night. Bri, I've known basically since I was born, because her mom and my dad did their residencies together. Jackie and Riley I met in middle school, and we've been friends since. I think Jackie suspects something, and Bri knows for certain (she's the one who helped me put the costume together in the first place). Riley is kind of... clueless, I guess would be the polite way to put it?

What kind of heroes does Maggie admire? (asking for the purpose of the Drive, if nothing else). I think the heroes I admire most or the more... subtle ones? Like there's two heroes in Aman who're Thinker-classified that act *very* close to how I look, but they actually have powers. Their names are Chance and White Fox and they're awesome. White Fox is this woman and she's been my idol for... since I was ten? She's smart, precognitive, sees five steps ahead and is exactly who I want to be. Chance is this guy who's fearless because he manipulates his own luck which is also really really cool.

When Our Team First Came Together -

We found signs that this incident was just the start of something bigger.

So, here's what I know. Lighter, even if they are a professional villain, didn't want to do whatever it is they were doing that day. They were being coerced by this secret society (cult? conspiracy?) named the Court of Flies, who had kidnapped their kids and said they needed to stir up trouble in Aman or they and their family were dead. We managed to find/rescue the kids and fought some of the flunkies of the Court, but with Lakeman down, tracking down and fighting this new threat was too much.

Relationships - Lenore is awesome, and you take every chance you get to hang out with them. You've got to prove yourself to Havoc before you feel like a real hero.

Influence: (Held) Redo, Havoc, Lenore; (Given) Redo, Havoc, Lenore
