Seawell is a small town (population 1,428) in the Hativean Steppes.

On the shore of the Great Western Sea is the village of Seawell. Occupying a low, broad plateau overlooking the Batan Marsh, Seawell offers a decent harbor for ships passing between the Elven Forest to the north and the Molin Sea to the east. A three-member Council of Elders appoints the Town Steward, who is currently Rotan Quickblade (NG male human Rog4/Ftr3). Rotan came to the Lowlands to escape the law elsewhere and found himself in charge of it here. He has fit the role surprisingly well. Seawell maintains a modest militia to deal with lizard incursions from the Batan Marsh.
