Grace Leong is a character in the My Little Mahou Shoujo game, played by Unka Josh

Background[edit]

Grace Leong is from a wealthy family, but a newly wealthy one, her parents having made a great deal of money through starting businesses, selling them, and then investing the money in more businesses. They gave her daughter everything that they could. She was trained in Baguazhang from a young age to encourage her grace, and she's a skilled performer. Her family provides many wonderful things for her-- beautiful clothes, her own car, training and tutoring-- and she does enjoy them. The fact that she's naturally beautiful and athletic doesn't hurt, either.

But deep down, she *knows* that she doesn't really deserve them. Not for just being born, especially.

Therefore, she does two things to try to "earn" the gifts she's had in life. For one, she drives herself to be the *perfect* daughter-- to never bring shame to her family, to never appear less than their beautiful, graceful, perfect daughter, to never fail. That part hurts her, although she doesn't fully realize how much. But the other thing she does is much more rewarding-- she tries to help everyone around her as much as she can. She's always giving her time, her attention, her money to help her friends, or anyone in need. She'll work hard to help a clumsy student in Bagua, to buy a beautiful dress for a friend for the school dance, to raise money for a charity... often to the point of self-neglect.

She desperately needs friends who will encourage her to relax, and look after herself. But she also needs a cause to make herself feel valuable and worthwhile...

  • SFX: Perfect Analysis - Spend 1 PP to add Enhanced Senses to a die pool or step it up and reroll all dice.
  • SFX: Showing Off - Step Up or Double any Perfect Form power for one action. If the action fails, add a die to the Doom Pool equal to the normal rating of your power die.
  • Limit: Conscious Activation - If stressed out, asleep or unconscious, shut down Perfect Form. Recover Perfect Form when stress is recovered or you awaken. If you take Emotional Trauma, shut down Perfect Form until the trauma is recovered.

  • Limit: Crushed by Failure - When you make a Friends roll and it fails, take d6 Emotional stress
  • Limit: It Doesn't Work That Way - You may not use Energy Control to directly inflict stress

  • 10 XP when you turn your back on your own social class or family to grow closer to a friend outside their circle, or abandon a friend to return to the familiarity of your own social class.
