Background History[edit]

Kallirrhoe, a dryad (an oak tree nymph), claims descent from the muses Clio (history) and Euterpe (flutes and music) (Everyone has two parents and they have two parents etc) whether that's true only the gods (DM) know. As odd as it may seem, when not performing, fighting, or angry Antonia can be shy and retiring around stangers yet loud and brash among people she knows.

Upon meeting the group she had the feeling that they would be great heroes one day and chose to become the chronicler of their adventures. Antonia's oddly modest for a bard and tends to downplay her own accomplishments and contributions in comparison to her companions. Part of the reason for this is how easy (and fun) music seems to her (It's not surprising that music would be easy for one with the blood of two different muses flowing through her veins). Another part of the reason for why she undervalues her contributions is that she isn't travelling for any grand reasons (Who cares about fame?), she just grew bored with the songs known in her little village and decided she would go out into the world to learn a lot of new songs and bring them back home to the village.
