In this story arc we meet the main characters of the Midnight Chronicles of the Norher region.

"ALIVE" , October 21, 2006.
- RECAP:
  In which our heroes awake bloody and tired on Ice Blood Field following the battle to hold off the beginning of a second burning line in the North. They escape the surprising rise of hundreds of thousands of Faengral with the aid of an elven Lord. Rushing to hide in a place the snow elf female calls the Mouth of Aryth. Hearing the first signs of something deeper in the caverns.

"HIDDEN" , November 18, 2006.
- RECAP:
  In which our heroes deal with the reprecussions that will be coming from their companions the elven Lord Asamyr, who is now undead - having fell on the battlefield but turned away the darkness for the moment. The group argues the situation but determine to move out after watching a massive army of undead (the same armies from the battle) now walking south. But before moving on they learn the caves which they stayed has teeth when Frozen Toads attack looking for food!

"HUNGER" , December 2, 2006.
- RECAP:
  Wolves attacked... In which our heroes stop for the night in the husk of what was formerly a small Dornish home long burned and destoryed. Within they learn of the family that had lived their. Beneath the sad story shows the family having locked themselves beneath to prolong the lives of their children. The parents feeding their youth who had risen as Fell from themselves! Skirting several larger homesteads they continue toward Cale.

"WRATH" , December 30, 2006.
- RECAP:
  In which our heroes move toward the city of Cale. They stop for feed and rest and face an ancient story being played out at a farmstead on the outskirts of the city.
