Combat, Two-Weapon[edit]

You can fight with a weapon in each hand. The skill in this group represents your ability to strike an opponent with your second attack. Your primary attack is a standard action; your secondary attack is a short action for a total of a long action for a two-weapon attack. You decide in which order your attack are resolved and the first attack is resolved before the full action is resolved. Even if a two-weapon strike is two attacks, it is considered as a single action. If your action is broken, you lose all your attacks that are not resolved.

Attacking with two-weapon is harder than attacking with a single weapon. You suffer a -4 penalty if you use medium weapon or a -2 penalty for a light weapon. The penalty applies to both weapon, but you do not need to use the same weapon size on each hand, so your penalty may be different for each hand. If you do not have the Dexterity Ambidexterity feat, you suffer the usual -2 penalty for using your off-hand. Natural weapons are considered as light weapons.

Double Weapons: You can use a double weapon to make an extra attack with the off-hand end of the weapon as if you were fighting with two weapons. The same penalties apply.

Thrown Weapons: The same rules apply when you throw a weapon from each hand.
