Other: Because the Order focuses on regaining ancestral ties and honoring existing ones, these monks may retain their ancestors (or purchase Lion ancestors normally).

Additionally, monks may purchase additional Lion ancestors (or ancestors from a previous clan) in lieu of a kiho, provided the ancestor has an equal or lower cost than the monk's Void + School Rank.

Despite the sanctity of swords in Rokugan and monks place in the Celestial Order, many monks of this order carry no-dachi, in deference to Akodo One-Eye. While this irks some Dragon and Crane, the monks are not so bold as to draw katana, and so this has been largely overlooked.
