Show Title: Mortal Things
Show Premise: Exorcists for hire / Spiritual troubleshooters in Nathir
Show’s tone: Overall serious, with room for humor
Regular Sets:
The back alleys behind the Guild district, narrow and dark with dirt streets that go muddy at the slightest rain, where more disreputable business takes place.
The riverside (which is a catch-all for any action happening near the water but not at the docks), with a Venetian / Parisian feel, paved walkways at street level with stairs up to street level and plenty of low bridges.
The Guild quarter, a stark contrast to the slums, with wide, well-lit streets and high-walled enclaves with gardens and willow trees.
The District of Reeds, a Bakumatsu-era-esque street with vendors, wandering musicians, whorehouses, alcohol, etc. Lively and bawdy.
The Beneficient Dragon, a pleasure-boat on the main canal which is the site of much feasting, gambling, and recreation by the wealthy of Nathir.
The Bogs, a slum of Nathir made up of many decrepit houseboats moored to the chimneys of drowned houses, which were once a fine neighborhood in the first age before the flood control functions of the Muddy Tower stopped working.
Woodgate Square, the humbler of the two town markets, which is more of a farmer's market and caters to merchants from the eastern jungles and southern plains.
Earthgate, a large First Age plaza which both serves as the Western verge of town and the poshest shopping district, with a high-quality market on the plaza itself. The brown irregular shape of the Muddy Tower looms over Earthgate, and it is rumored that the Militia are able to hear anything that is said there.
The Pagoda of Easeful Transition ("The Pagoda"), the crumbling building of the Sijanese Funerists in Nathir, and home to the Blossom family and not-incidentally haunted. It is located on Earthgate square.
