Moves:

Alien Tech: When you alter a human device with your alien technology, roll + Freak. On a hit, you create a device that can do something impossible once and then fizzle. When you roll a 10+, choose one:

  • it works exceptionally well
  • you get an additional use out of it

On a miss, the device works, but it has a completely unintended side effect that the GM will reveal when you use it. (using magic crystals to power technology can produce interesting effects)

Alien Ways: Whenever you openly disregard or undermine an important Earth custom in favor of one of your own people’s customs, shift Superior up and any other Label down.

Not so different after all: When you talk about your home, roll + Freak. On a 10+, choose two. On a 7-9, choose one. During the conversation, you:

  • confess a flaw of your home; add 1 Team to the pool
  • mislead them about your home; take Influence over them
  • describe the glories of your home; clear a condition

On a miss, you inadvertently reveal more about yourself than you planned; tell them a secret or vulnerability you haven’t shared with Earthlings before now.

Team Moves

When you share a triumphant celebration with someone, take Influence over them if you show them meaningful affection, physical or emotional. They decide if it’s meaningful.

When you share a vulnerability or weakness with someone, they tell you what you should do to fit in more. Take +1 forward to do it, and mark potential if you do.

Why did you come to Earth?

It is a rite of passage. Or, perhaps, an exam. Before I can officially be declared a heir, I should prove my ability to deal with the unexpected and forge bonds with people whose ways are alien to our culture.

Why do you want to stay here (for now at least)?

Being a heir to the throne is not nearly as fun as most people think. Actually, it is very distinctively boring. So many rules, regulations, customs, traditions, rituals... there's nothing wrong if I take a little vacation.

Why do your people want you to come home?

Well, you see, Mom decided Earth is dangerous... for some reason... and this exam went off the trail from the beginning, so I heard there's a discussion whether it'll count anyway...

Why do you care about the team?

There are situations which, if you survive them together, you have little choice but to become friends. Facing a supervillain is such a situation. Why yes, I've been reading your books.

I’ve been learning about Earth by spending time with Athena. She knows lots of things, and, more importantly, she's good at explaining them.

I have a crush on Mirage but I keep it under wraps. I mean, at first look, her situation's so similar to mine; she's supposed to inherit her family, and there's so much rules and customs she's supposed to follow... but she dares to throw it all away, and do what she likes to do... I... I want to be like that, too.
