Description
Raven is a human woman of 5'7' with light bronze skin and long brown hair usually worn in two braids, with uneven bangs (she trims them herself) and goggles perched on her forehead. She dresses in typical Techno-Wizard fashion, coveralls or shorts and a T-shirt with a leather bomber jacket over it, pockets bulging with mechanical tools and mystic instruments. There's a tie-down holster on her right thigh and a rifle sheath slung across her back. Her brain is faster than her mouth, so she makes a confusing impression much of the time, causing people to tune her out. Her figure is lean and muscled, but she's not fast on her feet due to a childhood illness.

History
Born in Cave Town, a small community, not much above a wilderness outpost, carved out of the end of a canyon, part of a collapsed pre-rifts facility. An isolated spot, but safe enough thanks to security through obscurity. Founded by a mix of Coalition refugees and local Native Americans.

Raven didn’t stand out much there. Her mother died in childbirth and her father in a hunting accident when she was six. Raised by the village, she was a wallflower, barely noticed by anyone. She didn’t speak up at fireside chats and wasn’t fast enough to accompany hunting parties, despite keen eye. She had nothing to look forward to in life but weaving hats and cleaning guns.

One day, a techno-wizard dropped in... or most of one. He’d lost an arm and a leg fighting... something up in the sky. Raven was tasked with taking care of Jack Fortune... and once he recovered, being his hands. Greatful for the help and not able to continue adventuring, he set about improving the town with his techno-wizardry and soon took on Raven as a protege. Raven got quite the education, and not just in magic and science. The world was so much bigger than she imagined! When she completed her first construction, a TK revolver, Jack sent her out into the world.

She's only been on her own a few months, ending up in Kansas as that's where the road took her, meeting some interesting people and digging up the past when she can find it.
