Background

Nicholas knew there was something deeply wrong with the world. The inequality, the hatred, the petty selfishness that drug the Earth into the dark dank sewer it was currently wallowing in. And it was all so easy to fix! But the pathetic ignorant masses continued to ignore the geniuses among them. The world-shakers. The ones who were willing to do what was right regardless of what society thought.

Teaching high school science by day, he taught his pupils rationality and the power of the human intellect. Some of the brightest even seemed open to his ideas of social change and the will to do so. At night (and in summer) he attacked the greedy businessmen, the corrupt politicians, the symbols of the decadence of the modern world from resorts to reality shows.

Until the Wiz Kids defeated him and turned him in.

He knew who they were the moment they pulled off his goggles and gasped as their favorite teacher was revealed to be their arch-nemesis. His best and brightest. His apprentices. They had so much potential and they threw it away propping up a corrupt system. So he sat it is cell and stewed.

There was still one more lesson he had to teach them…
