Allies[edit]

of Li Jian Chu[edit]

Li Yue[edit]

description here
Li Yue is Jian Chu's elder sister and head of the Li clan. Although the two of the them never were very close as children and their reunion almost ended in a disaster they are now the only members of the head family. With the the rest of the world against them and many of the clan jealous of their position Jian and Yue are now united in their determination to steer the Li through these troubled times and into a golden future. While not very powerful personally Yue wields great influence as head of one of the ruling clans of Chosaten as well as enormous wealth.

Huan Zhao[edit]

description here
Huan Zhao (previously Li-Deng Zhao), a cousin from the Deng branch of the family, grew up together with Jian and shared the same strict instructors. After a protracted duel of academic and mindgame one-upmanship the two boys so close in age and with similar gifts of intelligence became the best of friends. This friendship continued as boys became men with their own, different responsibilities even when occasional letters were all the contact they had after Zhao was married into the Huan family a few months before the fateful day of caravan attack. When Jian returned to the family from his enforced hermitage a few weeks ago he sent Zhao a cryptic note to tell him him that contrary to general knowledge he was still alive, but he has not yet met him in person, unsure how he would react to his tattoos and their personal and political implications.

of Sacre Cyrano[edit]

Orradi Filia[edit]

Serenity Songstress of the Gold Faction
Orradi Filia, a Serenity of seventy years who takes her position as a priestess of Venus very seriously, hails from the Northeast. For being so soft-spoken and gentle, she can be disturbingly bloodthirsty, reflected by her mastery of the Heart-Breaking Blade Style of martial arts. Sacre is her first student of martial arts, despite knowing older Sidereals and gods who would pay dearly to learn the art, due to it being the best way she could think of to get the newly Exalted Serenity on her side and nudged towards the Gold Faction.
She does care for the young man like a son, and happily encourages his focus on all of Venus's purviews, disapproving of his time spent in the Forbidding Manse of Ivy, reading First Age lore, and in the Violet Bier when he isn't injured.

The Cyrano Family[edit]

The Cyrano family is pretty well-known in the Kingdoms as entertainers. Some are court jesters, others travel, but it is more of a surprise when a Cyrano isn't in the performing arts than when they are. The closest the family has to a leader is Odette Cyrano, a godblooded member of the family who makes a living out of visiting and bringing messages to other family members.
... She has actually run into Sacre without a destiny up multiple times and is beginning to suspect that the elusive blue-eyed youth is a Cyrano-born bastard, since he bears the family resemblance, especially to Vert Cyrano.

Archer Oak[edit]

A man gentle and kind who wears his crown with the strength of the Dragons.
Archer Oak is a Wood Aspected Dragonblooded king who is just as affected by Arcane Fate as anyone else. He knows Sacre as a mysterious agent of Heaven who has given him useful information before, normally over a flawlessly done tea ceremony, and in return, he gives the young man some concessions as well. Before Sacre's Exaltation, the Wood Aspect was a virtual mother to the boy, making sure he was healthy and not getting himself into trouble.

of Doctor Inevitable[edit]

Edel Almai, heroic ghost[edit]

He looks like he came straight out of the ranks of the Sijanese caretakers. Which he did, centuries ago.
Edel Almai, heroic ghost. A skilled necrotech that followed Dr. Inevitable into exile. Edel was only too happy to experience Creation again and sign on where he could be truly creative. He often assists in projects at the Workshop.

Yang Chien, mercenary warlord[edit]

A short but very powerful man with Asian features. Carries a big waraxe.
Has a small mercenary private army. Will fight most anyone, anywhere for a price. He finds the enhancements provided by Dr. Inevitable for his troops most useful. And most healers aren’t willing to take things like fresh bodies and curiousos of the First Age as part of payment.

Bredic Sarr, Wood Aspect[edit]

An attractive young Outcaste Wood-Aspect
Another student of the school of healing, he chose to join Dr. Inevitable after the good Doctor’s banishment. Bredic handles the business end of things. (Terrestrial charms divided among medicine and social)

of Kelga Silvertongue[edit]

Veri 'Dre cyrean[edit]

Veri is the true blooded daughter of the Cyrean (denoted by the 'Dre in her name) ruling dynasty and Kelgas older 'sister'. They have been close since childhood, and Kelga will do anything for her sister no matter the cost. Occasionally Veri has abused this relationship, but she cares deeply for younger sister especially after Kelga foiled an assassination attempt on Veris life. However Veri was troubled by Kelgas exaltation and the two have not been as close as they once where a rift that Kelga is desperate to solve.

Holsar 'Dre Cyrean[edit]

Holsar is the current head of the Cyrean family and the ruler of the Parlson Kingdom. As was tradition when his daughter was born, he found another child born on the same day and hour and took her into his family. He dotes on both his daughters, but realizes there are times when he must hold back for their own good. He has of recent, become slightly worried about Kelga's growing wanderlust and continued disappearances but has accepted his daughter’s words that there is nothing to concern him.

of Kago Kaishin[edit]

Fujiwara no Akiko[edit]

Fujiwara no Akiko is the youngest daughter of Fujiwara no Masahiro, a trusted advisor and minister to Kaishin's father, the Daimyo of Kou. Akiko is the only member of the court to know of Kaishin's Exaltation and has promised to keep it a secret until he reveals this fact publicly. Much to Kaishin's relief, she doesn't seem particularly bothered by the change in his nature, reasoning that he is still fundamentally himself. She holds a lot of respect in the courts of Kou and does what she can to assist Kaishin in his endeavors. Their parents had at one point talked about marrying the two, though no one has brought it up in about a year. Neither particularly objects to such an arrangement, though neither is madly in love with the other either. They both simply realize that it would be a powerful and convenient arrangement, both for them and their families. Akiko is roughly Kaishin's own age and was named for her hair, which is a color similar to autumn leaves (Akiko - autumn child).

Furutsuchi no Tatsuki[edit]

Hailing from Kou's northern neighbor Kei, Tatsuki was Exalted by the Earth Dragon when she was 14. She comes from a family that has irregularly produced Dragonblooded in the 100 Kingdoms for as long as anyone can remember. While visiting Kou for diplomatic reasons, she had the chance to witness Kaishin's defeat of Kazetarou. She immediately suspected that he might be Exalted and questioned him on the topic. Cornered, he divulged the truth. Not a follower of the Immaculate Philosophy, Tatsuki agrees with many of Kaishin's opinions regarding the 100 Kingdoms current state. Her family, while old and well-established, does not actively rule, though not a few of the Dragonblooded scions of the family have attempted to unite the kingdoms (the last failed to do so, some 400 years ago). Witnessing Kaishin's power first-hand, she believes he may be the best chance the 100 Kingdoms have and has pledged her support and assistance to his cause. Though she does not help overtly now, it is likely that if Kaishin reveals the extent of his power, she will immediately ascend to be one of his most trusted lieutenants.

Enemies[edit]

of Li Jian Chu[edit]

Ei-Zen Hon[edit]

description here
Ei-Zen Hon is a Chosen of Endings no more than two centuries old who went ronin after a series of disastrous missions left him with wounds both bodily and mental. As his hiding place from the Bureau he choose an old and secret manse fatefully claimed by He Who Makes The Rivers Cry, who was teaching his new apprentice there. The Elder No Moon's powers healed the physical scars but more than anything else it was the friendship of Jian Chu who was also recovering from great mental trauma that helped the unfortunate Endbringer cling to sanity and find back to himself. In time they became more than friends and when the young No Moon told him of his failings one evening Ei-Zen Hon began to look for a way to help his lover in turn. And perhaps the Sidereals are indeed the greatest masters of the martial arts for where all his previous teachers had failed Ei-Zen Hon found a solution and the right style for Jian Chu. But their happiness was not meant to last. As the Infallible Messengers describing the consequences of the Reckoner's absence on Fate and Creation became more and more dire he realized that he could not avoid taking his place among the Five-Score Fellowship again. Upon his return he - and worse yet, his own sifu - realized, what he had done: In a moment of weakness he had betrayed Bureau secrets to an outsider. There could be only one solution that would simultaneously hone his conviction and salvage Ei-Zen Hon's position, the ancient Sidereal told the Endbringer: Li Jian Chu had to die by his own hand. And so it is that with great regret Ei-Zen Hon has begun to pursue his former lover's death. Nothing can be allowed to stand in the way of duty, thus is the lonely life of a Sidereal.

of Sacre Cyrano[edit]

None known. Yet.

of Kelga Silvertongue[edit]

Krisef Salder[edit]

Salder a name now blacked because of the actions taken by its patriarch. Krisef 'Der Salder was a man who exemplified the saying that a man raises to the level of his incompetence. Krisef was a Senior figure in Si'fer the third city of Parlson Kingdom. His family had acquired much wealth and power with shrewd business deals and honest dealing, but this was not enough for Krisef, who began to make many dishonest deals and other such schemes to make money quick. When Veri and Kelga were sent to Si'fer as part of their coming of age ceremony they uncovered some of the curroption in the city and started to tackle it. Krisef was furious and rashly tried to have the two young women killed, the plan failed when the assissnation failed. Kelga then followed the trail and proceeded to destroy Krisef and his house before laying his guilt bear for all to see. Since then he has sworn revenge on both Kelga and Veri.

of Kago Kaishin[edit]

Kago Tsuyoshi[edit]

Tsuyoshi was the apple of everyone's eye until his younger brother Kaishin began to show him up. Now Kaishin's older brother does what he can to maneuver against his sibling on their home turf, attempting to ensure his inheritance of the kingdom while doing what he can to strip Kaishin of power and influence.

The King of Sou[edit]

The King of Sou rules over the lands to the southwest of Kou. Sou borders on the Yellow Forest. Sou is a larger kingdom than Kou, but the two are fierce rivals for border territory. Many of the residents are used to paying their taxes to one country one year and to the other the next. The King of Sou has ruled for many years (about 50) and holds a lot of political clout with his neighbors (except for Kou, really). Though he is not a young man, he is still hale and hearty and none expect him to die naturally any time soon. Kaishin killed his oldest son and heir in battle about 2 or 3 years ago, and the King of Sou has sworn vengeance for the transgression. He's stepped up his aggression against the Kou border and has worked to turn many of the nearby countries against Kou.

Kazetarou, The Wind Through the Trees[edit]

Kazetarou was defeated in battle by Kaishin after his Exaltation. Kaishin managed to push Kazetaou's forces back towards the country of Areno, a country with very few trees. Kaishin has made more than a few quips about pushing the Wind Through the Trees into a place devoid of such things. Kazetarou is nominally loyal to the Kingdom of Sou. As an Outcaste Dragonblooded, he's not particularly tied to any one place and may have considered using his influence within Sou to either launch himself into a position to conquer a neighbor (likely Kou, now) or attempt a coup on Sou once he's amassed enough followers.
