CARDINAL SYN

Background:

Before the coming of 10 and Pontifex Eternal Jean Malreaux, Cardinal Syndeus Xavier Machinus was sentient of deep faith in the Firmament, and in the teaching of the Pontificate. Syndeus was targeted for elimination by 10 and Malreaux, but Syndeus survived. Syndeus saw this as a sign from the Firmament that 10 and Malreaux were heretics. He fled Pontificate space and has engaged in various schemes over the past century to gain enough power to destory 10 and Malreaux.

Cardinal Syn has the uncanny ability to bring out nearby sentient's inherent faith in the Firmament, transforming them into loyal followers and soldiers of God - under the humble and morally just command of Cardinal Syn. His schemes have been thus far unsuccessful - those not foiled by interlopers, at least*

Abilities:

By Thy Sacrifice Am I Bolstered [R]: When one of your minions is destroyed, roll its die and you recover that much Health.

Lo, A Champion Of The Lord [A]: Use Radiant D10 to create a lieutenant of the same die size as your Max die.

Call The Faithful To Prayer [A]: Use Suggestion D10 to create a number of minions equal to the value of your Max die. The starting die size for those minions is the same as the size of your Min die.

Saints Preserve Us! [A]: Choose one group of minions in the scene. Upgrade all their dice one size (maximum D12).

Thy Rod And Thy Shield [A]: Attack using Radiant D10 and use your Max die. Defend against all Attacks against you until the start of your next turn using the number of your minions.

I Am Thy Shepherd [A]: Roll all your minion dice and combine the result to Boost. Attack using Radiant D10 and use that bonus.

The Lord Taketh! [A]: As long as you are in command of your own forces, automatically succeed at an Overcome involving seizing an area or capturing civilians.
