Background

Dr. Kuroda was not present at the Hammersmith Event, but her early research into neural energy mapping and Telluric resonance led to her recruitment into a secret Axis-aligned lab in Manchuria. They were reverse-engineering reactivated Atlantean bio-weapons buried deep beneath a forgotten temple.

When an experiment went catastrophically right, the ambient Telluric energy overloaded the device—and her. She survived, changed. Her body became a vessel of charged instability, requiring external tech to focus and discharge the energy surging through her nervous system.

Horrified by what the Axis intended to do with the research, she destroyed what she could and fled, eventually defecting to the British through a back-channel escape route in Egypt. Now, she serves as a field agent and technical advisor, still learning how to master the storm inside her.
