Both of Sandra's parents are avid loppet skiers, and her dad continues to participate in the occasional biathlon race to this day. Sandra's brother was also a member of the Canadian Nordic Combined Team for five years. With this heritage to support her, she began to ski at the age of two, almost as soon as she could walk. Her love for the sport was immediate and she hasn't looked back. She stuck with cross-country racing until her family moved to Calgary in 1992, when she decided to try her hand in biathlon with a local club. (The biathlon is an Olympic winter sport, which combines competitive, free-technique cross-country skiing and small-bore rifle marksmanship.)

Sandra raced hard and soon earned a place on Canada's national ski team. She won a gold medal at the 2000 European Cup (Canada's first international gold medal since Myriam Bedard's Olympic gold in 1994) and was awarded the distinction of being Canada's Biathlon Female Athlete for that year. Sandra has a career total of 16 gold, five silver and five bronze medals at Canadian Championships and a career total of four gold, two silver and one bronze medal at North American Championships.

  • Sandra posseses the ability to grow her body, proportionately, to at least 36' tall, and possesses strength appropriate to her size. She has joined Milos Wiazowski's King Farm "Pantheon" under the name "Olympia" (though fellow member, "Hoax", calls her variously "Big Time," "Big Tits," and other colorful words beginning with "T") and went with that group to assist the earthquake relief efforts in Kashmir.
    • Sandra's dream is to win a medal at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, but the International Olympic Committee has not yet made a ruling as to whether or not Godlike are elligible to compete. Sandra's personal sponsors are Trail Sports, Sympatico.msn.ca and the Gimbel Eye Centre.
