Gossip/Investigative reporter for the Amber Gazette. Also a novelist and part owner of New Warren Press.

His origins are sketchy. He has an accent that is not recognizable, perhaps from a deep shadow. He seems to be one of those people that wandered into Amber for unknown reasons. He has been a fixture of court/merchantile/noble & underworld gossip since the last few decades of Oberon's rule.

He may be run into in almost any venue in Amber. Many welcome him as a celebrity, many are just a breath away from knifing him.

Benedict and Caine detest him. Corwin and Bleys are both known to be his boon companions and defenders.

He has turned down repeated awards for cleverness including a grant of Arms from Eric and Random. Claims a title would not be dignified.
