Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.

  • Name: Sansha Kuvakei
  • Rank: 4
  • Careers: Transubstantial Initiate; Astropath Transcendent
  • Station: Choir-Master Telepathica
  • Appearance: Outside of combat, Sansha is usually found in his military uniform. He wears a plain uniform consisting of a 3 white-buttoned knee-length black coat with crimson trim, white gloves and polished black shoes. A decorative and unused saber hangs at his side purely as a sign of his station. He wears no bandages or other apparatus to cover his empty eye sockets. The blinding magnificence of the Emperor burned his sockets clean, leaving only blacked skin thinly covering the empty portals. No hair adorns his scalp, instead the space is devoted to tattoos of scripture proclaiming His indomitable might. The only hair on his body is a neatly kept goatee with accompanying mustache.

Background Story[edit]

I was taken from my home at a young age, not even ten years old. At birth, my home was the Battlecruiser Last Bastion. In later years, my home would become a black ship of the Inquisition. It was several years before we finally reached Holy Terra, where I would begin my training. I showed promise fairly early on in my psychic training and it became obvious I would advance to the ranks of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica. During my time spent on Terra, I visited many of the golden chapels and temples dedicated to the God-Emperor of Mankind. I found myself captivated by their beauty and by what they represented. I discovered that I had more than mere faith in Him. Faith is blind obeisance. I had beheld His infinite beauty and I knew with full certainty that He stood for everything that was righteous and just in this universe, and I knew that I would never stray from His teachings. I vowed to spend the rest of my life spreading His word to those too far from the light to hear and smiting down the evil Daemons that undermined His absolute rule.

Near the standard age of 20, I was released from training and sent back to my first home on board the Last Bastion to serve as an Astropathic choir-boy. After my time spent in rigorous training to become an Astropath, the 'hardships' of military life were laughable. Still, the discipline stuck with me. Decades passed in service to the battlefleet, sending and receiving messages on a regular basis. I witnessed the burn-outs of several of my brothers, but through His will I persevered. Eventually I became Choir Master, but the position held no satisfaction for me. The position brought me wealth and power. Any time not sending or receiving messages or spent in prayer was spend lavishing myself with the most expensive goods my wealth could buy. Unfortunately, no amount of wealth could buy my happiness. After decades of gaining influence with the right people, I petitioned for release from duty to pursue my own endeavors. The fleet admiral would have likely said no, but my perfect record and just the right amount of Thrones handed under the table convinced him to say yes.

I spent several years abroad, serving as an Astropath-for-Hire amongst chartist vessels and passing traders. Eventually I found myself in Port Maw, the entrance into the Koronus Expanse. I knew He had sent me there for a reason. I set about finding a respectable Rogue Trader that was willing to take me on as Choir-Master. I was finally poised to begin my legacy as the Speaker of His Word and Bane of Chaos.
