Modular Equipment[edit]
Stingray Missile Pod
- A cluster of small missiles that can target up to four ships on the same slot of the maneuver chart. If you use a Stingray in the thin out the swarm action, success eliminates two aspects, not just one. This weapon is not effective against large targets.
- Consumable

Avalanche Missile
- A high powered warhead that tracks and strikes a single target. One of the most advanced missiles on Earth, and one of the few missiles capable of locking onto alien craft, albeit at shorter ranges than human aircraft can be targeted. It is much larger and more resource intensive, as a result.
- Consumable
- Action Skill: Technology, maximize one die
- Special: Weapon:4 on successful attack
- Special: Shields are only half as effective against this weapon’s attacks

Tsunami Type 17 Missile
- A high yield missile designed for taking down large UFOs or ground targets. Essentially an up scaled Avalanche with a higher yield warhead with a commiserate loss of speed and tracking power.
- Consumable
- Action Skill: Pilot, maximize one die if attacking a large target
- Special: Weapon:6 on successful attack
- This weapon occupies one modular equipment bay.
XSDB: Advanced Small Diameter Bombs
- A group of bombs that can target up to four ground target at or below your current position on the combat tracker. This weapon cannot be used against aerial targets.

- Action Skill: Technology, maximize one die
- Special: Weapon:4 on successful attack

Defense Matrix
- Defensive computers based off of alien technology that identify alien attack patterns and provide warnings about incoming plasma fire
- Increase defense rating by +1

Boost Matrix
- Upgrades to the flight engines based on new concepts gleaned by studying crashed alien UFOs that increase the speed and maneuverability of the interceptor
- Maximize one die in overcome actions when using the push action in engagements.

Uplink Targeting
- A direct link to X-COM’s satellite and GEOSCAPE network to predict alien maneuvers and provide that information to the pilot
- In the second maneuver phase of an engagement, maximize one die in your overcome action to determine your placement. In the third and subsequent rounds, maximize two dice.
- This module is most useful for pilots who like to take the tactical refocus action, but will also be used when you need to re-establish your maneuver position after being on someone’s tail.

Phoenix Cannon
- The latest weapon from X-COM’s research division; this replaces the 20mm cannons on the interceptor with a more powerful weapons systems that rapidly fires armor piercing shells molded from alien alloys. Presently in the prototype stage, only a few have been made available to the Aerospace division, and there are currently miniaturization problems.
- Add 1 to your ship’s Weapon rating for attacks made with Gunnery.

Reinforced Magnetic Hull
- Recharges shield generators faster.
- At the start of your attack phase, increase your shield rating by 1, up to your allowable maximum.
- This module occupies two modular equipment bays.
Automatic Repair Systems
- Automatically identifies damage and implements work-arounds on the fly.
- Maximize one die when attempting the repair action in an engagement.
- This module occupies one modular equipment bay.
AOA Delimiter
- The XFS-105 is capable of a super high gee maneuvers that are extraordinarily punishing on the pilot. Angle of attack limiters prevent this from occurring accidentally. Some pilots who can take the strain have a delimiter installed, temporarily disabling the restrictions in order to be able to perform post stall maneuvers at the cost to their own body
- Activate at any time to gain +1 to any check, but also take 1 stress on the pilot (not the ship)

High Performance Optics HC-91 “Hawkeye” Sensor Booster
- Maximize two dice in detection actions at the start of the encounter.
