Vargas is an active duty Imperial Scout who hails from the Five Sisters subsector. He has spent his entire adult life as a Scout and has served in every branch of the Field at one time or another. While he is currently assigned to the ship and the POW return mission, he's seriously contemplating resigning from the Service once the current job is complete. In the meantime, he is your typical Field Scout possessed of an irreverent and independent personality.

His equipment is pretty much Service issue with the exception of his personal vacc suit.
