Background[edit]
Sehateno "Haru" Harukiyo was an ordinary if somewhat unlucky high school boy. His parents died in a car crash, the orphanage he was sent to was burnt down in fire, etc, yet he survived. But he's about to top 'em all when an alien spaceship crash-landed onto his school, killing everyone in his class, including him and the girl he liked.
However, by a strange twist of fate, the alien race calling themselves "Initiators" decided to save Haru and reconstruct his body with the DNA in a string of his hair. Except it wasn't his own hair - It was the hair of the girl he liked! Now she has the exact same body as his teenage crash, and that's not even the beginning of his troubles.
According to them, the Initiators had been interfering with human civilizations before known history ("Without us, you'd still be cavemen."), so they felt entitled to sponsor a champion of their own in the tournament. Having seen something in Haru ("A high karma value.", as they say), they made Haru an offer she could not refuse:
"If you make a contract with me, I will fulfill one of your wishes!"
Nishi the Initiator[edit]
Nishi is a member of the alien race Initiators who, besides crash-landed onto Haru and her classmates, grants the wishes of young girls in exchange for contracts and their services as Magical Girls.
Kagamine Ume[edit]
Haru's high school friend, who survived the accident by skipping class. Looks feminine and harmless, but is actually full of tricks. Became a huge fan of Angel <3 white after seeing her on TV.
