«Random_Nerd» He takes a chisel out of his pocket.

• DanteE checks him out in Sight & Mythic...
  

«Kite» (I forget, did prayers change in 3e in a way I've forgotten?)
«Random_Nerd» Mythically, he's a guy holding a chisel, who looks much taller than he does prosaically. A loops around his neck like a necktie.
«Random_Nerd» (Well, I grandfathered in the old rules.)
«Random_Nerd» (But remember. Prayers are not two-way.)
«DanteE» (what loops?)
«Random_Nerd» (The recipient can pray back to you, but an Imperator might not want to do that to a Noble.)
«Random_Nerd» Err, /it/ loops. The snake does.

«Random_Nerd» He looks around on the ground until he finds a mid-sized rock.
«Random_Nerd» Then he turns upward, holds the chisel to the sky, and taps at the other end of it with the rock.

«Random_Nerd» Little bits of blue dust fall down from the sky.
«Random_Nerd» Johann: "Wish I had my goggles..."

«Random_Nerd» He changes his angle a bit, and then chips again.
«Random_Nerd» J: "Hold on, almost got it..."

• DanteE grabs the chisel

«Random_Nerd» He takes a piece of shiny blue out of the sky, and hands it to you.
«DanteE» What's the damage to the sky?

• DanteE examines the piece...

«DanteE» (every way possible)
«Random_Nerd» (Give me a for instance.)
«Random_Nerd» It's blue, glowing, slightly translucent, and warm to the touch.
«Random_Nerd» About the size of a marble.
«Theresa» (Maybe Kite can assemble something that can receive messages from Jerrin, so Jerrin doesn't have to pray to him?)
«Random_Nerd» But more jagged.
«DanteE» What's the sky look like where he was chipping?
«Kite» (Perhaps an unmanned aircraft with a message banner?)
«Random_Nerd» Mythically, it looks like the ceiling of a cave, only blue. Where he took out the piece, there's a gap, but it's far from the only, or the largest.

• Kite Assembles an unmanned aircraft with a message banner to deliver his message to Jerren.

«DanteE» Where are those other holes coming from?
«Theresa» (No, I mean that Jerrin can't reply back to you via prayer. He needs a way to respond that isn't...insulting? To an Imperator.)

• DanteE closely examines the holes. Are they new?

«Random_Nerd» And they aren't holes all the way through. It's just that the lower surface of the sky isn't smooth. It has gaps.

• Ftisk poke an hole with one manipulator

«Random_Nerd» The sky's pretty sturdy. How hard do you poke?
«DanteE» By checking for environmental effects on the chipped surfaces
«Ftisk» not much hard, a probing poke
«Random_Nerd» It's somewhat weathered and pitted.
«Random_Nerd» Ftisk, your poke touches the sky, and reaches into a gap. It's warm.

«Kite» (No. Warm.)
«Random_Nerd» It's only a few inches deep, though.
«Random_Nerd» Nowhere near all the way through the sky.

«Brian» "Dante killed you once for being a piece of the Apocalypse. He brought you back because he's sometimes nice. He can undo that undo..."
«Random_Nerd» Johann: "So... threats of murder, then?"

• Ftisk strike a cool pose once he shoot Ftisk
  
• DanteE grabs the cage and starts flying him up.

• DanteE flies high enough that we can both see signs of people.
  

«Random_Nerd» He reaches a hand out of the cage, and grabs the sky when you reach about six feet off the ground.
«Random_Nerd» It stops. Do you apply additional force?
«DanteE» Yes, unless it starts to look like the sky is being moved or damaged...
«Brian» (Anchor) "Sam, what's the easiest way to figure out someone's Estate? Besides asking them. Especially if they don't know."
«Random_Nerd» He's got a pretty solid grip on it, and it seems like it's yielding more than he is.
«Random_Nerd» He's not supernaturally strong or anything, but he has some kind of Gift or Affliction that lets him do things to the sky.

• DanteE spins the cage around

• Ftisk fly up
  

«Random_Nerd» (Rotating it around the point he's holding on to, or what?)
«Brian» (to Sam) "He can chisel at the sky, and is apparently one of Jerren's."
«Ftisk» "Why you take him near the sky, Dante?"
«Random_Nerd» Sam: "Jerren doesn't have Nobles. He doesn't even have a chancel."
«DanteE» spinning fast enough that he'll let go
«Random_Nerd» A fist-sized piece of sky breaks off in his hand.
«Brian» (to Sam) "Is there another way a Serpent could imbue someone with power?"
«Random_Nerd» Sam: "Sure. Dozens, probably."
«Theresa» (What type of Imperator is in charge of the sky?)
«Ftisk» (in this game, Imperators can make shards, right?)

• DanteE flies him up nice and high...
  

«Random_Nerd» (You've seen one Imperator who seems to have done so.)
«Random_Nerd» He throws the chunk at Dante's face.
«DanteE» (Shards?)
«Random_Nerd» Dante, what do you do?
«Ftisk» (shard, kinda like a Nobles but different, maybe a channel is not needed to make one)
«DanteE» dodge and keep going
«Brian» (to Sam) "So, it's likely that pretty much he can only just chisel away at the sky? I'm not sure how to look into this. I'm not even sure how to look into what kind of damage this could do. He also showed up in the Spirit World as a stick man with the label 'Piece of the Apocalypse' ... though that's a bit of another story."

• Ftisk fly fast and take the piece!
  

«Random_Nerd» Miraculous dodge, or mundane?

«Random_Nerd» Dante, you feel the piece of sky pass through your head. Johann looks at you oddly, as if that wasn't what he was expecting.
«Random_Nerd» It causes only the faintest of sensations as it passes, and causes no damage.
«DanteE» Can I get us nice and high?
«Random_Nerd» After he throws, he sticks both hands out and grabs more.
«Random_Nerd» You're about fifty feet up at this point.
«Ftisk» can I grab the throwed at Dante piece?
«Random_Nerd» Yes.
«DanteE» (Damn it, I can't see a way out that doesn't involve killing this guy.)

• Theresa watches, looking up. "This is not going to end well."
  
• Ftisk put the piece of sky on the eyestalk with he missing eye
  

«Kite» (Take him back to the chancel and jail him away from sky?)
«Ftisk» (if you leave a windows he will continue his chisel work :-( )
«DanteE» (Away from the sky... that's it!
«Random_Nerd» (Yeah, but Dante keeps the code of the Wild.)
«DanteE» (Theresa, open up the ground.)
«Random_Nerd» (Keeping someone imprisoned so he can't fulfill his purpose in life is pretty anti-Wild.)
«Theresa» (You're going to have to say it out loud anyway. Theresa can't read minds.)

• Kite assembles a sculpture of Ftisk utilizing essential parts from Johann's phone.
  

«Brian» (to Sam) "Know any way to find out?"
«Random_Nerd» Up ahead in the sky, you see a large reddish-dark area suddenly open up like a set of huge jaws.
«Random_Nerd» Sam: "Uh... poke a hole in the sky?"
«DanteE» ...
«Brian» (to Sam) "I think we have a hole in the what the fuck is that?!"
«Ftisk» "DANTE, FLY INTO THE HOLE"
«Random_Nerd» It moves towards you, apparently trying to catch you.

• Kite blinks.

«Ftisk» "there will be no sky to ripp ... WAIT! what the hell is that?"
«Random_Nerd» Last call for moving to stop it.

• Ftisk look at the being in mythic
  

«DanteE» stop in mid-air, and prepare to catch the thing as it comes
«Random_Nerd» Mythically, it looks like a huge mouth of something facing you.

• Ftisk fly to Dante
  

«Brian» I'd like to shift Dante's position. Lesser Motion of Numbers from him being there to being over *there*
«Theresa» (Uh...then you're dropping the cage?)
«Random_Nerd» Dante, you feel immense scaly jaws catch you and the cage. You aren't crushed, but you are held securely.
«Random_Nerd» Muffled but immense voice: "What's all this, then?"

• Theresa mutters "PleasebeJerrin because I need less stress right now..."

«Ftisk» "Hi ?Jerrin?"
«Random_Nerd» And as it stops, you can see that the mouth was just the frontmost part of an immense flying snake, who was charging towards you through the sky, mouth open.
«Random_Nerd» Jerren, Mouth Full Of Dante: "I felt an attack on one of my Estates, so I came to deal with it, and I find you here."
«Brian» (did my motion take?)
«Ftisk» "Your estate is destroying the sky!"
«DanteE» (Remind me of Jerren's Estates?)
«Random_Nerd» (It was trumped by a higher-level Aspect miracle by Jerren.)
«Theresa» (Impending Doom.)
