Chancel_Amyra
Chapter 37

=-= User mode for Angelo is now +ix

-->| YOU (Angelo) have joined #Nobilis

<Angelo> Hi guys!

<Random_Nerd> Which one was Azalin?

<Knockwood> Hiya Angelo

<lazarus> Hey Angelo!

<lazarus> Azalin was the liche king of the thing that became Necropolis.

<Random_Nerd> Oh, right.

<lazarus> he kept trying to escape Ravenloft, until he broke it

<lazarus> (I can't remember his Domain's original name! Damnit!)

=-= BethE is now known as Theresa

<Angelo> http://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Azalin_Rex

=-= Knockwood is now known as DanteE

<Random_Nerd> So, we have a Laz, an Angelo, a Beth, a Knockwood, and a Verithe.

<Random_Nerd> Just short Etheric.

<Random_Nerd> Shall we wait a few minutes and then start?

<Angelo> brb: hunting food in the homeSavana

=-= lazarus is now known as Brian

=-= Verithe is now known as Kite

<Random_Nerd> So, when we last left our heroes, Ftisk had just /flipped out/.

<DanteE> OK, before Ftisk had his little episode ( :) ), we were putting together a plan to investigate Breach Day, right?

=-= YOU are now known as FlippedOUT

<Random_Nerd> Which apparently is due to the fact that Tempering is a little more complicated than it seems.

=-= YOU are now known as Ftisk

<Theresa> We were going to go talk to Ophie up on the moon.

=-= YOU are now known as TemperingIScomplicate

  • TemperingIScomplicate howltotheMOON

<DanteE> Did we want to visit anyone else?

=-= YOU are now known as Ftisk

<Random_Nerd> Of the people who were on the Wall, the rest were either AWOL, or not well disposed to you.

<DanteE> I mean on the moon. James? Walter? Someone else?

<Random_Nerd> Oh, right.

<Theresa> Walter was the doggie?

<Ftisk> can be a good time to fix James affair :-)

<DanteE> yep

<Random_Nerd> Yes.

<Random_Nerd> Walter is the sheepdog who works for Lost Things.

<Brian> we lost James' connection to Creation? ;)

<DanteE> well, didn't we decide the original James was gone and this James was something else?

<Random_Nerd> Did you?

<Random_Nerd> I don't recall that.

<Brian> ah, so we lost James?

<DanteE> originalJames got digested

<Random_Nerd> Nah, James is just hanging out on the Moon so Kudzu doesn't eat him. Again.

<Theresa> As one does.

<Ftisk> I don't think so DanteE

<DanteE> Remind me who else is on the list?

<Random_Nerd> Which list?

<DanteE> Watching the wall that day

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel standing in for Kudzu, who had Imperator Flu or something.

<Random_Nerd> Gamaliel.

<Random_Nerd> Barakiel.

<Theresa> HQB

<Random_Nerd> Ha'Qadosh Berakha.

<Random_Nerd> And Ymera Notappearinginthis'Game.

<Theresa> He had to take a Creation Day.

<Brian> (aptly named, RN)

<Random_Nerd> This is just for the Earth region, of course.

<Random_Nerd> Well, Earth/Dionyl. Greater Earth.

<Random_Nerd> But that's where the Breach Day stuff happened.

<DanteE> OK, let's see... we technically haven't met Gamaliel...

<Theresa> Hmm, question. Does Entropy ever take Wall duty?

<Random_Nerd> Yes.

<Random_Nerd> When he feels like it.

<Theresa> Don't want to. Patterns barely trusts us as is.

<DanteE> Barakiel we're on OK terms with, it's that his Lawbreaker complicates things.

<Random_Nerd> And you don't know where he is.

<Random_Nerd> Other than "Outside, maybe?"

<DanteE> HQB we're supposedly working for.

<Random_Nerd> But you've already talked to him about Breach Day.

<Theresa> (Hmm. Okay, whose Breech Day cat is this? http://. wpengine. netdna-cdn. com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/perfectly-timed-photos-part2-5.jpeg )

<Random_Nerd> Yeah, that's the most commonly used form of Notappearinginthis'Game.

<Kite> (Mine! Mine. I want it. It's mine.)

<Theresa> (Maybe the Warmains can get you a kitty.)

<Brian> oh, I saw some good snail pictures on reddit t'other day. I don't remember much else about it.

<Kite> (Eee!)

<Brian> (careful. World breaker's claws.)

<Ftisk> (well, internet is full of good ones)

<Theresa> (Another thought. Is there anything that is on _both_ sides of the Wall?)

<Ftisk> Active writing is

<Random_Nerd> Should we go in-character?

<Brian> (snails in the rain or something like that)

<Kite> (Other than Active Writing?)

<Kite> May as well!

<DanteE> Why not

<Brian> Ftisk: Active writing is when we tunnel it. I think that's what RN said last time I brought it up

<Ftisk> Ftisk is arguably both sider after tempering

<Brian> and arguably Summoners

<Random_Nerd> Being on both sides isn't enough.

<Random_Nerd> You also have to deal with the Wall.

<Random_Nerd> To cross stuff over.

<Random_Nerd> Let's see, other stuff on both sides.

<DanteE> Caesar’s other two Estates, maybe

<Theresa> Do Lawbreakers count?

<Random_Nerd> Anyone who's gotten to the higher mysteries of High Summoning.

<Random_Nerd> Arguably, anything that's ever been Outside is on both sides whenever it's in Creation.

<DanteE> That would include everything ruled by a Wildlord

<Ftisk> right D.

<Random_Nerd> Not just them.

<Random_Nerd> Like, okay. So, Barakiel went Outside, right?

<Theresa> Hmm, that is a point, since there's only Time on our side. But that would mean that Kudzu is still on the other side of the Wall, wouldn't it?

<Random_Nerd> That means that, from most perspectives, he has /always/ been Outside.

<Random_Nerd> Because there isn't Time over there.

<Ftisk> so outside is there a copy of Kudzu?

<Random_Nerd> Just like how once he was driven partially insane by fusing with the Lawbreaker, then from then on he'd always been like that.

<Random_Nerd> Depends what you mean by "copy."

<Random_Nerd> Was Kudzu changed by the transition, do you think?

<Ftisk> functional working and with miracle power

<Kite> So.....what if Caesar's former self/selves were both the same entity and was only an Imperator before going Outside?

<Ftisk> yeah, surely he was changed

<DanteE> well, K was there before he came here, but since there's no Time over there, he was sort of always there?

<Random_Nerd> So then there is, in a sense, a being Outside that, when it entered Creation, turned into Kudzu.

<Kite> Right.

<Random_Nerd> As far as you've been able to tell, instead of sequential time, for stuff like this they'd only exist in certain contexts.

<Random_Nerd> Like, if you were interacting in a context where the War was not a thing, that would be in the context where proto-Kudzu had always been Outside.

<Brian> so kind of an interesting question is is pre-Creation Kudzu always there, or never have been there?

<Kite> So he went outside to always exist as a Warmain.

<Random_Nerd> But if you were in a context where the War was on, then that's one in which for those purposes he isn't.

<Kite> Then came back as Caesar.

<Kite> Or something.

<Random_Nerd> The real question is... what would happen if Caesar went Outside now?

  • Kite ends wild hypothesizing.

<Theresa> (Hmm, another thought. What kind of Excrucian would Kudzu be?)

<Brian> (none, because Excrucians weren't then?)

<DanteE> Well, if 'Excrucian' is really a political designation...

<Random_Nerd> Which type is he most like?

<Kite> The kind that eats itself.

<Brian> Strategist, I'd almost say.

<Theresa> Yes, which type. But I guess it'd be Wildlord, since the types are Warmain, Strat, Deceiver, Mimic and Wildlord.

<Random_Nerd> And, bear in mind, there are a lot of things Outside that aren't considered Excrucians. Lawbreakers. Bears. Whatever Jeeves is.

<Theresa> (Yes! Jeeves is the King of the Excrucians!)

<Brian> birds?

<Random_Nerd> (And they went to war to get him back!)

<Random_Nerd> (They just misaimed and hit the wrong century at first!)

<Kite> He's not a peregrine bear. He's nothing like Cheer Bear.

<Theresa> But, okay, ready. To the moon? Or do we have more to do with the visitors and Ftisk?

<Random_Nerd> Kudzu is secretly... a bear!

<Random_Nerd> A really big bear.

<Theresa> I always liked Friendship Bear better.

<Random_Nerd> So, let's go IC.

<DanteE> (Considering the collateral damage, he may be Oopsy Bear)

<Ftisk> Kudzu Bear

<Kite> Cannibalism Bear

<DanteE> (Which is another MLP link)

<Random_Nerd> ______________START___________________

<Random_Nerd> (So, shall you be already on the Moon, or about to go?)

<Theresa> "Should we bring a gift?"

<Theresa> (Or 'Should we have brought a gift?')

<Random_Nerd> (Oh, did you want to bring Lesson?)

<Kite> (Let's be there or we will never get there)

<Brian> (on the boon!)

<Ftisk> "Gift? to Ophaniel? uhm.... Me in a box?"

<DanteE> "Not sure this is covered by the rules of etiquette..."

<Kite> "That sounds like a perfect idea, Ftisk."

  • Ftisk do the yappy dance!

<Brian> "Kite, don't encourage him"

  • Kite whispers to Theresa: "Let's not let him out of the box until we get back."

  • DanteE is a little thankful that he's talking about _all_ of him in a box...

  • Ftisk jump in the first empty box in the tower

  • Theresa whispers back, "You know he'd just break out of the box at any time. Especially at the worst possible moment."

  • Kite sighs.

<Kite> "You're right."

<Brian> "We could gild it and ward it and cast spells?"

<Random_Nerd> There is something of a change in the atmosphere.

  • Ftisk snakeEaterFtiskInABox

<Random_Nerd> Not literally the air, but in the tone.

<DanteE> to Kite: "Can you _assemble_ something to put it in?>"

<Random_Nerd> Normally, the Moon is sedate, calm.

  • Ftisk move around sneakily

<Random_Nerd> Right now, there's a note of tension in the air.

<Random_Nerd> Not fear, exactly.

<Theresa> (Antici...)

<Random_Nerd> But like when Vulcan is working in his forge, focusing all his attention on completing some project.

  • DanteE steps outside to look at the moon...

<DanteE> "You feel that?"

<Kite> "Yes? I can assemble anything, Dante."

<Random_Nerd> You're in the main entrance to the Moonlands.

<Theresa> (Ah, it's the 'the boss is really busy but not busy enough that when he gets his head back in place, he won't rip our faces off for goofing off'.)

<Random_Nerd> It's a huge octagonal room, tiled in pale marble.

<Random_Nerd> There's various hallways leading to sections of the Moon ruled by various Nobles.

  • Theresa whispers to Kite, "I don't think we can _give_ her Ftisk, anyway. He's technically your Chancel's and Vulcan's."

<Random_Nerd> This is also the first time you've come and not had someone immediately there to greet you.

<Brian> "Hullo?"

<Random_Nerd> (Or, at least, the first time they knew you were coming.)

<Kite> "She's not allowed to have him."

-->| Etheric (~SophiaFor@MagicStar-577BA14A.hr.hr.cox.net) has joined #Nobilis

<Brian> (I'll ring the closest thing to a doorbell?)

<Theresa> "This doesn't feel good. I hope it's not end of the Age planning."

<DanteE> (Hiya Eth)

<Theresa> (Hi Etheric!)

<Random_Nerd> There's a sound like an animal the size of a horse, but with clawed feet rather than hooves, is running down the tiles toward you.

<Etheric> (Hi everyone.)

<Kite> (Hi, Eth!)

<Random_Nerd> Then it turns the corner, skidding a little.

<Ftisk> (Hi Eth!)

<Etheric> (No need to pause or slow down on my account.)

<Random_Nerd> Apparently, it is Walter the Sheepdog. Only he's now the size of a small SUV.

<Theresa> (We just showed up on the moon.)

<Theresa> "Walter!" *thinking: "Oh crap, happy to see us SUV...'*

<Kite> "Walter! You've grown!"

<DanteE> "Whoa, Walter, you've grown."

<Random_Nerd> Also, he's got what appear to be military insignia attached to his chest. It's not entirely clear how it's attached, though.

<DanteE> "What are they feeding you here?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Sorry about being late. Still getting used to the inertia of this thing. Doesn't corner as fast as I used to."

<Etheric> (Am I remembering right, it's a diplomatic trip connected to the summit?)

<Random_Nerd> (Partially.)

<Brian> (relatively understandable military insignia?)

<Random_Nerd> (And partially an information-gathering trip.)

<Kite> (Relating to Breech Day)

<Random_Nerd> (If you had to guess, you'd say relatively junior commissioned officer. But the specific symbol isn't familiar.)

<Theresa> (Ophaniel was on the Wall during Breech Day. Only Imperator that a) can stand us, b) hasn't talked to us, and c) we know of.)

<Ftisk> "Is the insignia that grow you? Or the moon food?"

<Random_Nerd> (And also, she's one of those going to the Summit.)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Neither. We're preparing for the End of the Age."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Hounds helped me. Apparently, because I chase things as part of my job, I fall into his Estate where a pet wouldn't."

<Brian> "How? Why now?"

<DanteE> (When is the date for the start of whatever-will-happen according to Attaris?)

  • Theresa mutters, "Please don't say the meeting.."

<Ftisk> "Cool!" *pat Walter*

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Because milady thinks that, if the talks with the Warmains don't go well, things are going to get bad."

<Random_Nerd> Walter sits next to Ftisk, occasionally scratching.

<Brian> "Doesn't necessarily mean the turning of the Age"

<DanteE> "That makes sense."

<Ftisk> "That is surprisingly possible"

<Random_Nerd> He doesn't have any fleas, though. It's just a habit.

  • Theresa slumps a little, thinking, *I said not to say that*

<Ftisk> "Walter, can I swim a bit in your fur?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "My fur is not a liquid, sir."

<Theresa> "The Lady of the 3rd Age has a sense of humor. I'm sure she'd pick the most inopportune time to change the Age."

<Ftisk> "But would you let me in?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "If you do not damage my fur. It is the only fur I have."

<DanteE> (You're in a box, Ftisk. :p )

=-= Etheric is now known as Carrie

<Ftisk> (damn, right Dante!)

<Random_Nerd> (He can hover. The box can hover with him in it.)|

<Ftisk> (retcon my fur swimming request then)

<DanteE> "Careful, Ftisk, you'll mess up your brother's work with the wrapping."

<Theresa> (Which is more important...being in the box or swimming in dog fur? Luxuriant doggy fur...)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Have you... talked to Mike recently?"

<Ftisk> (the box!)

<Theresa> "Not recently. We've been getting ready for our meeting."

<DanteE> "Actually, no, not since we visited you last."

<DanteE> "We probably should."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Just... hoped he's doing alright. All the way out here, I don't hear from his court much."

<Kite> "Did he need to be talked to?"

  • Ftisk shakes in a no way

<Kite> "His court?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "He's just... important. We have to protect him, even now. He's our King."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "You know. Dogs."

<Kite> "Oh, right."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Woof, and so on."

  • Theresa will LDiv any plants near Mike for info on how Mike is treating the plants in his neighborhood?

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "There's me, and the other Hounds up here, of course. But we're out of the loop, and less than half of the Hounds are actually Dogs."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Still, he said that what we're doing up here is important work."

<Kite> "It is, Walter. Never doubt that."

<Random_Nerd> (Hmm. Mike and his court are currently in central Australia, appointing viceroys among the dingos. There aren't many plants around.)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Yep! We're preparing to help save the world! You know, if we have to."

<DanteE> (Well, at least he's all right.)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "But I'm sure your thing will go fine and we won't need to."

<Theresa> (Darn. Can I tell Walter that part?)

<Theresa> (That he's okay and in Australia appointing viceroys?)

<Random_Nerd> (Sure, if you want.)

  • Theresa does so!

  • Ftisk yawn, save the world is sooo overrated!

<Random_Nerd> (And normally you'd have to use a Greater Divination to find him fast like that, but I figure that Sam and/or William keep you somewhat up to date on what important people you know are up to.)

<DanteE> (Funny you should mention that, cuz that relates to how Kite and I may be able to avoid corruption)

<Kite> "It's good to have backup plans."

<DanteE> (Now, did we give Oph Walter before or after Breach Day?)

<Theresa> (Before, I believe.)

<Random_Nerd> (After.)

<Random_Nerd> (Didn't you?)

<Random_Nerd> (Let me check. That was in Dogs In Space...)

<DanteE> (Both! OK. :) )

<Random_Nerd> (Yeah, after.)(

<Random_Nerd> (Some time after.)

<DanteE> (Did we tell Walter why we're here?)

<Random_Nerd> (Breach Day was Chapter 13.)

<Theresa> (Huh. Breech Day happened about the time that Ftisk found the Amyra Nobles. Very suspicious...)

<Kite> "Which eventualities do you have backup plans for?"

<Random_Nerd> (I'm assuming he has some idea that you're there to speak to Ophaniel and possibly James.)

<Ftisk> (is NOT Ftisk fault!)

<DanteE> (Suuuuuure)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Not my job to know all that. I just know that I've been tasked to train and guide a large unit of Hounds to help herd humans in urban environments."

<Brian> (it's clearly /Kite's/ fault)

<Random_Nerd> (And Dogs In Space is chapter 20.)

<DanteE> "herd humans?"

<Ftisk> (rotfl, yeah, Kite's fault!)

<Random_Nerd> (Sorry, I mean, DOGS IN SPACE!)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Yes! Scared ones!"

<Theresa> "Makes sense, Dante. People in crowds can hurt themselves if they aren't lead to safe places."

<Theresa> *to Walter* "Are you protected against weaponry?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I'm very big, and very tough. But I can still hurt myself. Maybe I'll get extra protections if we have to actually execute the plans? I don't know."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I just know my part of the plan, not the whole thing."

<DanteE> "Fair enough. We may be able to help if ... you know."

<Ftisk> (brb)

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I imagine you'll be really busy if, well, the end of the world happens."

<DanteE> "Anyway, what's Ophaniel doing?"

  • Theresa pats Walter. "Thank you for being a good dog, Walter. Thank you for protecting people."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "She's somewhat busy, but she says that I can bring you to her when you're ready, and she'll make time."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I try to be a good dog. It's /important/ to be a good dog."

<Kite> "And you are. A big, good, big dog."

<Brian> (I like dogs in this universe)

<Brian> "I think we'd like to talk with her, if she's ready"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I've got a job. An important job! The King /said/ that it was important! So I think I'm a pretty good dog."

<Random_Nerd> He stands on all fours and trots along, leading you.

<Kite> "And big!"

  • Theresa follows!

  • DanteE follows.

<Random_Nerd> After a brief trot through the grey-white halls, he brings you to a large silver door.

<Random_Nerd> It's uncorroded, of course. Because this is the Moon.

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I don't have hands. Can one of you get it?"

<Ftisk> (back)

<Kite> "I don't have hands today, either!"

  • Theresa opens the door.

<Kite> "Dante, you do it!"

  • DanteE gets the door...

<Random_Nerd> It's tall enough that a double-decker bus could drive through and not be in danger of hitting the sides or top.

<Random_Nerd> But, I mean, aspect. You can open it.

<Kite> "Or Theresa. You can do it too."

<Brian> (I'll walk in as the two of them open the door ;) ... except I don't have the Aspect)

<Kite> "One of you hand-entities."

<DanteE> (I just did)

<Kite> (But Theresa did it first.)

<Random_Nerd> (Oh, and the doors for places like this have to be that big because Ophaniel is quite large when she isn't contracted down.)

<DanteE> (OK, then, I'll just keep a hold of the Ftiskbox.)

<Random_Nerd> Inside, Ophaniel is somewhat extended out, and is going over what appears to be an extremely detailed globe with The Chase, some large and angular quadrapeds, and a guy with an eyepatch that most of you recognize as Ken Duncan.

  • Ftisk watch around for O. signs

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel looks... somewhat weaponized.

<DanteE> (Ken Duncan?)

<Random_Nerd> The outer gears and levers are sharp, and some glow red with heat.

<DanteE> (You're in a box, Ftisk.)

<Random_Nerd> (You met him... oh, ages ago.)

<Ftisk> (yeah, but can peek out an eyeball to look around ;-) )

<Random_Nerd> (He's the guy who got drunk, hung himself from an ash tree, and came down with knowledge of the Runes, like Odin. Except Odin doesn't exist in this game setting.)

<Random_Nerd> (So it's entirely unclear who or what gave him Noble-like powers.)

<Kite> (Oh yeah! Him!)

<DanteE> (Depends on how extensive a job Kite did when he wrapped the thing...)

<DanteE> (Oh, him!)

<Theresa> (Which makes him a bit weird. There were warmains involved. And a motorcyle, I think.)

<Brian> (Ah, I remember)

<Brian> (T: the Angel isn't in this game. No motorcycles ;))

<Kite> (Colorful wrapping paper, ribbon and a bow! All necessary for assembling a gift!)

<Random_Nerd> (Oh, and he had both eyes the last time you saw him.)

<Theresa> (Nah, not _that_ motorcycle. This was a completely different one that I think we...destroyed.)

<Kite> (Also wrapping tape.)

<Theresa> (Duct tape?)

<Ftisk> (and enough loose space for a shapechager to put a eye outside)

<DanteE> (Well, just for the color...)

  • Theresa waves hi?

<Random_Nerd> He stands up from where he was leaning over the globe, and looks at you.

  • Ftisk look all boxlike

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Amyra, right?"

<DanteE> "Ken. Long time."

<Brian> "Yus"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Indeed."

<Kite> "No. I mean yes, but also no."

<Brian> (I just realized. Ftisk could have /turned himself into/ a box)

<DanteE> "What's with the patch?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "I am relatively busy, but I recognize that the business relating to the Summit is important."

<Ftisk> (Brian, is funnier this way)

<Brian> "You were on Wall Duty on Breach Day?"

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Needed knowlege. Made a deal. Seemed... appropriate."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "That is what you've been calling the day the Warmains acted oddly?"

<Kite> "Jan ben Jan?"

<DanteE> "... with who?"

<Brian> "Yes"

  • Ftisk nod inside the box

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Jan ben Jan, of course."

<Theresa> "How recently?"

<DanteE> to O: "Actually, should we talk in private?"

  • Kite nods.

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Under a month, I don't recall exactly. Why? Is it important?"

<Kite> "I did business with him as well. He has my kidney.

<Random_Nerd> (And yes, that's after JbJ went into his existential crisis.)

<Brian> (huh)

<Brian> "How'd you contact him?"

<DanteE> "It means we didn't spook him too much..."

<Ftisk> (existential crisis or a way to keep out us?)

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Someone had to direct me, but I took my chariot to where he lives... exists?"

  • Theresa whews. "We were worried that he had went off the grid permanently."

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Someone said that. But when I told him that I wanted to sell my eye for knowledge, he... wakened, and accepted."

<Brian> (what was my question that broke him, again?)

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "I think he gave me a good deal, too. I got /two/ answers for one eye."

<Random_Nerd> (Let me look up the exact wording.)

<DanteE> (Brian: IIRC, you asked the 5 important things we'll have to deal with, and his departure was one of them)

<Theresa> "niiice!"

<Theresa> (I thought the Barakiel thing set him off.)

<DanteE> "If you don't mind me asking... what were they?"

<Brian> (it was something like "how much is enough?" )

<Kite> (It was one of the answers to Brian's question.)

<Kite> (Which was something about Jan ben Jan himself.)

<Brian> (from when I was poking at the mechanics of reality)

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "I asked if the world was in imminent danger of destruction and chaos. Ragnarok and so on. And he said yes. And I asked what I should do if I want to help prevent or at least mitigate it, and he said that I should go to the Angel of the Moon and offer what assistance I could give. So I did."

<DanteE> "Ah. Good to know."

<Ftisk> "Cool!"

<Brian> "..."

<Theresa> (When is it not in that danger?)

<Brian> (I also don't remember the 5 Things We Have To Deal With, and how many have been dealt with)

<Kite> "Very good!"

<DanteE> (PC-aura caused plot entropy is 1 through... ah ... 67. :p )

<Random_Nerd> (Okay. The question was, what are the five greatest threats Creation will face in the near future.)

<Random_Nerd> (Sorry, no.)

<Random_Nerd> (The five greatest threats /to/ Creation that /you/ will face.)

<Random_Nerd> (Important distinction, there.)

<Random_Nerd> (http://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/Session_217 if you want the details again.)

<DanteE> (Actually, how should we address Ophaniel?)

<Random_Nerd> (So, in no particular order. The Barakiel thing with the Lawbreaker.)

<Random_Nerd> (The standard address is Ymera Ophaniel.)

<Random_Nerd> (HQB discovers something that causes him to doubt his own loyalty to Creation. You don't know if that's happened yet.)

<DanteE> (uhoh)

<Random_Nerd> (Wildlords start to think that if they kill themselves, they will be able to reincarnate outside of reality. A lot of them do. It doesn't work, because "their theory will prove to be entirely backwards.")

<Ftisk> (MIMICCCCCC!!!!)

<Random_Nerd> (Entropy leaves Earth and goes Outside.)

<Random_Nerd> (And Jan ben Jan gives up on trying to collect enough body parts for his plan by fair deals, and starts stealing them by force. This breaks his abilities, because it breaks the rules under which he operates. He tries anyway, it doesn't work, and he dies.)

<Brian> (arg, this platform is very much not good for looking something up at the same time.)

<Random_Nerd> (And those versions are what happens unless people influenced by this prophecy act to stop it.)

<Theresa> (That Wildlord thing...crap, *to all other players* Crap, does that mean if Excrucians die, they reincarnate in Creation?)

<DanteE> (That's us!)

<DanteE> (Or Ftisk is right, they become something-like-Mimics)

<Ftisk> (Ftisk will try one day or another)

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "So, what brings you to me?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter goes and stands next to Ken, by the globe.

<DanteE> "Anyway. Ymera. As part of the preparation for the summit, the age, saving the world, et cetera, we are trying to determine exactly what happened on that day.

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Well, I wasn't there for any of the dramatic parts. Not nearly as much as you."

<DanteE> "We've heard you were patrolling the Wall on that day.

<Brian> (and we have some time before the JbJ thing, I think)

<Theresa> "Did you notice anything unusual at your time at the Wall?"

<Brian> (actually, I wonder if Ken's being here is roughly related to us all being influenced by the prophecy about JbJ)

<DanteE> "Well, our working theory is that there was some kind of 'breach' in the Wall.

<DanteE> "Which is where you were.

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Well, there were several breakthroughs. Is that what you mean?"

<Kite> "Yes."

<Random_Nerd> "At least two full Warmains, several Shards."

<DanteE> "More than usual?

<Theresa> "Two full Warmains? Did you notice who they were?"

<Random_Nerd> O: "Well, you don't normally see full Warmains even try. But that was... it was out of the ordinary, but it /happens/."

<Random_Nerd> O: "...you know that better than I do. You encountered both of them that day. Why are you asking me?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "And that wasn't in my area anyway. That was Berakha's."

<DanteE> "Something else happened that day... have you seen our report to the Council about the effects of crossing the Wall?"

<Theresa> "Ah, I was just wondering if there was someone other than those two. I guess I don't think of Caesar as a Warmain, but as more a Wildlord now."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "As far as I could tell, from a distance, he seemed like a Warmain like any other."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Kudzu told me some of it, but I have been busy."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Did you find out something important that I should know?"

<DanteE> "The short version is, it wipes the memories of whoever crosses.

<Brian> (oh. HQB seeing something that questions his loyalty. He was on duty in the area of the Breach. ... this is not adding up to good.)

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Oh, that. Yes, I heard that."

<DanteE> "Well, on that day, the opposite happened...

<Brian> "Less wipes and more swiss-cheeses."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "The only odd thing happened /before/ they broke through. To the extent that that even is a meaningful distinction when you're dealing with the Outside and the Spirit World."

<Brian> "like Quantum Leap"

<Theresa> "Oh? May we please hear what this was?"

<DanteE> "Wildlords including Kudzu momentarily reconnected with the memories they left behind."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "It was like this. First, you must know that maintaining the Wall and holding strong is a constant struggle. For the purposes of this metaphor, which is not /entirely/ misleading, it is like wrestling."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "The way the opposition grappled with me was... wrong."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Imagine that you are a wrestler. You wrestle a creature that has never encountered humans before, but has wrestled... let us say, crocodiles."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "So he tries to restrain your claws. To clamp your jaws shut. To roll you onto your back."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "And none of it works, because you are not shaped in the right way. The methods he uses to grapple with you assume that your muscles and bones work in a certain way. And they assume wrong."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "It was like that."

<DanteE> to the others: "A new player entered the game?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "I do not know. There was... suction."

<Theresa> (Damn it, Ftisk, do you become a full on Imperator-level Excrucian?)

<Ftisk> "Suction?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "I assumed it was part of the... grappling. That it tried to use my momentum to pull me outside, but did not understand properly the ways that I would 'move.' "

<Brian> "Breach could have messed up their sense of what's what, giving them sense of Time temporarily, and other things like that?"

<Theresa> "Were you able to handle it more easily since it was so wrong?"{

<DanteE> "Just to check, are you talking about the Wall itself, or something else?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "But Beraka's experience was nothing like that. He said that it was as though they predicted his every move, countered his every strategy."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "And for the other Angels, they just said that the resistance was much less than usual."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Yes, from my perspective, it was much easier because of the clumsiness of the opposition."

<Theresa> "That's very weird that they could predict completely a Council member."

<Random_Nerd> (To be clear, she was talking about Ha'Qadosh Berakha earlier. Not Barakiel, who was also there.)

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "And predict so poorly another of the guardians, at the same time."

<DanteE> (Did you see what I asked?)

<Random_Nerd> (Ah, missed it.)

<DanteE> (Is HQB a Wildlord?)

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "...it would be an oversimplication to answer directly, but... let me say that it was /more/ 'something else' than it was the Wall."

<Theresa> "Maybe it was something that only could predict one being and they thought they were getting HQB at all points?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "They have defenses of their own, at least as strong as ours. Forces they project to keep us Inside, and to press the attack at times."

<DanteE> "What if... whatever it was that lost to Ophaniel... was expecting Kudzu?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "But how could they know? They know next to nothing about how we choose our defenses."

<Ftisk> "Is reasonable to expect Kudzu"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "There are no patterns to exploit. Entropy sees to that."

<DanteE> "... they _shouldn't_ know of our defenses."

<Ftisk> "Unless there is a mole"

<Ftisk> (no, Ftisk is not the mole .. honest)

<Brian> "When did Shirk appear?"

<Theresa> "Was the assignments for Wall duty made before or after Shirk arrived in Creation?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "That was later. He did not force his way in. He was... /allowed/ in."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "And I was not on the Wall that day."

<Brian> "I'm seeing all kinds of bad here. Guys, I think we need to talk to HQB."

<Brian> "And ... when did he come in, again?"

<Random_Nerd> (Make sure you don't say anything to make him doubt his loyalty to Creation!)

<DanteE> "If I'm right, we're looking for someone who knows the schedule but isn't 'in' enough to know about the substitution."

<Theresa> "No, I mean, could he have influenced the Wall assignments."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "From Outside? Influenced Entropy's deliberations?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "If they could do that, they would already have won."

<Brian> (anchorspeak to Sam) "Sam, I need you to do two things for me. I need you to set up a meeting with HQB, about Breach Day. And I need to know who was on Wall Duty when Shirk was allowed in."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Both will take time, but I'll get to work."

<Brian> (to Sam) "Thank you."

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "May I ask why you need to know this?"

<DanteE> (OK... so... assuming Entropy's clean (HA!), we're looking for someone who could see the schedule after Entropy but before they actually use it.)

<Theresa> "We wish to collect all of the information that we can about Breech Day in the hopes to have more insight for the Warmain's desire for talks at this juncture."

<Theresa> (Like a Council Member?)

<Ftisk> (There is a Mimic in the council)

<Theresa> (Ah, but is it HQB or Ananda?  :) )

<Brian> (If it were Ananda, no one would know. No one would look.)

<DanteE> (So, it's Ananda.)

<DanteE> (The same thing may happen this Age end that happened last Age end)

<Random_Nerd> (For that matter, there is at least one other person who had to have known that Kudzu was assigned. Kudzu.)

<Kite> (I hope the next Age is not a mimic...)

<Ftisk> (Kudzu is a mimic, face it bros&sis)

<Theresa> (*whine* But I don't _want_ our Imperator to be a traitor to Creation!)

<Ftisk> ( /Me offer candies to lil T so she don't whine)

<Brian> (chibi!T?)

<Ftisk> (nod nod)

<Theresa> (Nope. Not going to believe it. The notion has been heard and discarded. Dismissing the claims in fine Mass Effect fashion.)

<DanteE> "Huh."

<Random_Nerd> (For that matter, what if they have some other means of gathering this information, other than spies?)

<Brian> (I'm done with my first playthrough of the Trilogy. It was great :) ... I got to hear that line and it was awesome.)

<Ftisk> (arg, NO mass Effect spoilers please, I know nothing and like to remain that way 'till I game them)

<Brian> (PLAY IT!)

<Brian> (best sci fi series of recent times)

<Ftisk> (Don’t have the frikking time! :-( )

<Random_Nerd> (...are there other sci fi series of recent times?)

<Ftisk> (Half-life?)

<Brian> (Saint's Row?)

<Random_Nerd> (Anyway! Nobilis!)

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Do you need any other information or assistance?"

<DanteE> "We... need to talk to Berakha."

<DanteE> "Oh... we also wanted to visit James."

<Theresa> "I cannot think of anything for me. Is there anything that we can help you with?"

  • Ftisk whisper to Dante "... when you gift me to her?"

<Brian> "Not at this time, Ymera Ophaniel. Thank you for your time."

<Brian> "... unless you want to take Ftisk off our hands?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Will you wish to speak with James while you are here? He is... depressed."

  • DanteE hands the Ftiskbox to Kite.

<Theresa> "We would indeed like to talk to our brother, thank you."

=-= Kite is now known as Human-Kite

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel: "Walter can guide you."

  • Human-Kite takes the Ftiskbox and holds it closed as tightly as possible.

<Ftisk> (you suck all the fun out of being a gift box!)

<Random_Nerd> Walter sits up from where he was conferring with Ken.

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "As you command, milady."

<Brian> "Oh, Ken, who brought you to JbJ?"

<Random_Nerd> He doesn't salute her.

<Random_Nerd> Because he's a dog.

<Random_Nerd> But something in his posture suggests that he would if dog limbs worked that way.

<Brian> "We've always been teleported to him, but he hasn't been returning our calls recently, and we wanted to check on him"

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "I asked around, I got directions."

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "But I brought myself."

<Brian> "Can we get the directions? What price would you ask for them?"

  • Human-Kite bows to Ophaniel before following Walter.

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "I can write them out for you. Oh, a side benefit of... whatever happened to me. I cannot forget any writing that I've seen."

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Do you have a stick or something?"

  • Theresa lc a stick. Hands it over.

<Random_Nerd> He takes a knife from his belt and cuts runes into the stick. He's shockingly quick at doing so, for someone with "Aspect: What's An Aspect?"

<Brian> ("Aspect: what are we playing, FATE?")

<Random_Nerd> He hands the stick back, and puts his knife back away.

<Theresa> (He's our Odin. Runes are one of his shticks.)

<Theresa> "Thank you very much!"

<Random_Nerd> Ken nods.

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "I do hope the summit goes well. But if it doesn't, well, Ophaniel, me, and some of the other demi-Nobles are working on a backup plan."

<Theresa> *nod* "Is there anything that we could create or give to you that could help while we are here?"

<Human-Kite> "I hope everything goes well. For the summit and for you."

<DanteE> (Demi-nobles?)

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Not right now."

<DanteE> (How many do we know?)

<Random_Nerd> (Hmm. At least two or three.)

<Random_Nerd> (Depending on how you define your terms.)

<Random_Nerd> (It's not a rigidly defined category.)

  • Ftisk wave the box to Ken as we go

<Random_Nerd> Ken: "Just... don't screw up."

<DanteE> (Too late!)

<DanteE> "We're trying not to."

<Random_Nerd> Sam, via Anchor-Speak: "Boss? I'm not done with the job, but something important just came up."

<Ftisk> (We have Ftisk on our side, how we can screw up more?)

<Theresa> "If we die but there's a new Age, at least there's still a Creation.."

<Brian> (Sam) "Yes? Do we have to run back home?"

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Entropy's here. I mean, he's actually /here/. And he says he needs the Box back, but he'll return it when he's done."

<Brian> (out loud and to Sam) "Shitfuck. We have to get home NOW."

<DanteE> "What happened?"

<Brian> "Box's owner wants the box back."

<Ftisk> (WOW! Better that Ninjas entering the scene NOW!)

<Human-Kite> "Do we all have to go?"

<Human-Kite> "I wanted to meet your secret brother."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Do you not need to see your brother, then?"

<Brian> "Not when Entropy is in our Chancel."

<DanteE> "Ack. Well, since Theresa and I have the tattoos..."

<DanteE> (Do we still have the tats?)

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "I... should just say 'Yeah, you can take your Noble back, and while you're here can I shine your shoes', right?"

<Human-Kite> "He just wants the box back, right?"

<Random_Nerd> (Yes.)

<Theresa> "Ftisk and I can talk to James. We hadn't been playing with Entropy last time anyhow."

<Brian> (to Sam) "Um. Yes."

<Ftisk> (I want to ask one thing to Entropy... but can wait)

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Okay. Do you want me to try to stall, or try to get him gone as soon as possible?"

<Theresa> "You guys go home. We'll talk to James and if Entropy blows you up, well...at least you didn't have to go to the meeting."

<Brian> (to Sam) "We're getting going now. If he wants to speak to us we'll be there in [time]"

<DanteE> "Theresa, I'm thinking you and I should take care of The Box, but the others can talk to James."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Do you want to just take me over? I understand if you need a presence on the ground right now."

<Brian> (to Sam) "You can handle it."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "You're the boss, Boss."

<DanteE> (Aw, gee, can't we ask him which of his fellow Council members is a Mimic?)

<Ftisk> (Brian, Sam is begging to not be left alone with scary bad Entropy, take over him ;-) )

<Theresa> "Alright. Let's go then." *bows* "Thank you for your time, Lady of the Moon and Ken."

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "So, who's going where?"

<Random_Nerd> Ophaniel whirrs at you.

<Brian> (Brian just doesn't /do/ that.)

<Random_Nerd> Ken nods.

  • Theresa pats Walter. "I know that you'll be a good dog, no matter what happens." *smile*

<Ftisk> "I'm _still_ in a box, can you land me in Ophaniel bedroom?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "She's... she's a giant network of gears, hinges, and levers. She doesn't have a bed."

<Ftisk> "And a recharge station?"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "I... don't even know what it would be shaped like if she did. Vaguely spherical?"

<Human-Kite> "Too bad, Ftisk. Maybe next time."

<DanteE> to Brian: "Did He tell Sam why he needed the Box?"

<Ftisk> "Drat, where she rest.... sigh. Right Dante"

<Random_Nerd> (And, if you're trying to recall what Ophaniel looks like, it's like if a giant metal Hoberman Sphere had a baby with an analytical engine and a circular saw.)

<DanteE> (Extremely suspicious timing, if you think about it. How long would it take for us to get home?)

<Theresa> (Whoo, sexy.)

<Random_Nerd> (Under an hour.)

  • Theresa will pull Dante toward the door out.

  • Human-Kite offers two feathers to Walter. "One of these is for you. Could you give the other to James and tell him I would like to meet him sometime? Careful, they're sharp."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "He's taking the box and leaving. He's... actually carrying it on his shoulder. I've never seem him do physical labor before."

<Ftisk> (Yes T. Ftisk is literally crazy for her)

<Random_Nerd> (She is Item #17 on the list of things that Ftisk is crazy about!)

<Ftisk> (you have a list? ?_? )

<Theresa> (Brian, tell Sam that we're coming. And see if that makes him move faster.)

<Random_Nerd> Walter, to Kite: "I will do that, sir."

<Theresa> (No, I think a Hoberman Sphere is rather awesome.)

<Ftisk> (Maybe this Entropy is fake?)

<Brian> (to Sam) "Can you stall him on the way out?"

<Brian> "Dante, I don't think he said why."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "He just walked back through the wall."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Do you want me to chase him? Because... I really don't want to do that."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "I mean... what if he trips when he's carrying the box? Or gets annoyed?"

<Brian> (to Sam) "Um. No, don't chase him. Um. wow."

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Do... do Imperators trip?"

<DanteE> (Ask if we'll get it back before the Summit)

<Brian> "Big E walked through one of our walls." (Dante: he said so already)

<Brian> "Carrying the box. I didn't think he did that himself."

<Ftisk> (did we know if E. have worldbreaker hand?)

<Random_Nerd> (Yeah, you know that he does.)

<Random_Nerd> (It's common knowledge.)

<DanteE> "Huh. Well, I guess he ... needs it ..."

<Ftisk> (I think we had the box _pilfered_ by a thief!)

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Aaaand, he's gone. It... doesn't feel like he's still around, you know?"

<DanteE> "Yeah, I'd say for Sam, the protocol for Entropy is just 'Stay out of his way'."

<Theresa> "Then let's go see James. *sigh*"

<Brian> (to Sam) "um. Well done?"

<Random_Nerd> Sam: "Yay."

<DanteE> "Yeah, James."

  • DanteE checks to see if he still has the tattoo...

<Random_Nerd> You do.

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Okay!"

  • Ftisk tries to burst out of the box

<Ftisk> (did Kite let me out?)

<Human-Kite> (Never!)

<DanteE> (and let me remind you you put yourself _in_ the box. :) )

<Random_Nerd> (Ftiskboxing!)

<Ftisk> (was a fun idea at that time)

<Random_Nerd> Walter guides you to where James has been staying.

<Random_Nerd> Once the door is opened, you find what looks like a gymnasium decorated in the style of the Moon, where James is wrestling a giant wolf. Twice as big as Walter. It's not the /biggest/ giant wolf you've seen, but it's probably in the top ten.

<Random_Nerd> They tussle a bit more, then James sees you and taps out.

<Theresa> (In Norse mythology, one wolf eats the sun. Does another eat the moon?)

<Random_Nerd> The wolf stops, and then sits on its haunches, breathing hard.

<Random_Nerd> (Yes.)

<Random_Nerd> (But this isn't that wolf. He just lives here.)

<Random_Nerd> (And the moon is way bigger than him!)

<Random_Nerd> (As giant wolves go, he's only midsized at best!)

<DanteE> "Was wondering if this was planned or not. Hello James."

<Random_Nerd> (I mean, sure, he could probably fit a human in his mouth. But who couldn't?)

<Human-Kite> (Snow would've eaten the moon.)

<Random_Nerd> James: "Hey."

<Theresa> "hi James! How are you?"

  • Ftisk wave from the box

<Random_Nerd> James: "Okay, I guess?"

<Theresa> "What have you been up to up here?"

<Random_Nerd> James, to the wolf: "I'm gonna talk with my siblings and their friends. See you in an hour, Sven?"

<Random_Nerd> The wolf makes an odd "Grrphm" noise, and walks out.

<Random_Nerd> James: "So... how's it going?"

<DanteE> (Oh, all hell's breaking loose. How are you?)

<Theresa> "William's getting married sometime. We're going to have a meeting with a lot of Excrucians, Shards and Imperators. And the 4th Age is almost here."

<Random_Nerd> James: "Huh. That is a lot."

<Random_Nerd> James: "I... I've been getting /really good/ at wrestling wolves. Oh! And racketball. So that's something, I guess."

<Random_Nerd> James: "So this summit thing that Ophaniel's been talking about, that's you guys' doing?"

<DanteE> "It kinda fell into our laps."

<Ftisk> "James, you know her better than me living there... can you advise on how I can slip in her pants?"

<Random_Nerd> James: "Well, I probably shouldn't tell you this, but..."

<Random_Nerd> He puts a hand next to his mouth as if to hush it.

<DanteE> (Does James know Ftisk?)

  • Ftisk float the box near the hand

<Random_Nerd> James: "Head down the way you came, and then turn right, and then left, and then straight for three crossings, and then left, and then straight for two, and then it'll be the first door on your left."

<Theresa> "Pretty much. Our friend Ftisk here Tempered a Warmain and we got more involved in dealing with them. And with the entry of one of the Kings from Outside into Creation, there's a lot of disturbance in the force."

<Random_Nerd> James: "You may have to defeat a sphinx in a riddle contest..."

<Random_Nerd> James: "And there, past the sphinx, are her pants."

<Random_Nerd> James: "And no, none of that is true."

  • Ftisk *RUN* as James said!

  • Human-Kite shakes his head.

<Theresa> (Too late. He's already gone.)

  • Ftisk STOP

  • Ftisk sigh!

<Theresa> "She doesn't _wear_ pants, Ftisk."

<DanteE> "How could she? She's _round_."

<Random_Nerd> James: "I'm just so bored. I don't have an Estate to defend any more. Ophaniel lets me stay here, but doesn't trust me enough to involve me in her plans."

<Ftisk> "You! you! playing with my fragile feelings! Grrr!"

<Theresa> (She has no hips!)

<Random_Nerd> James: "Grr."

<Theresa> "Did you feel anything recently, about *time of Breech Day*?"

<Ftisk> toT&D: was a way to say how can I makeout with her without use the F* F word"

<Random_Nerd> Walter: "Oh! Right!"

<Random_Nerd> He passes the feather to James.

<Random_Nerd> W: "I was supposed to give you this!"

<Random_Nerd> James, to Ftisk: "She doesn't have lips either. Or reproductive organs. Well... I /assume/. I don't really know what angel junk looks like."

<Theresa> "Ftisk, you could have said 'make out with her'. And there's no F in that."

<Random_Nerd> James: "By the way, why are you a hovering box?"

  • Ftisk project Ftiskness on James

<Random_Nerd> James: "I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that."

<Theresa> (Question of the ages. The box one too.)

<Random_Nerd> James responds by punching the box at super-speed.

<Ftisk> (success? failure? wound on James side?)

<DanteE> "We thought we might give Ophaniel another gift and he volunteered."

<Random_Nerd> He takes a Wound, grits his teeth, and doesn't get Ftiskier.

<Human-Kite> "Thank you, Walter."

<Random_Nerd> You are slammed against the wall.

<Random_Nerd> But do not take a Wound.

<Random_Nerd> James: "Stop that."

<Ftisk> "ouch!"

<Ftisk> "yeah, yeah, if you let me Ftisk-ize you, you can _understand_ my need to make out with Ophaniel better!"

<DanteE> "I'd say you still have the physical capabilities you always did..."

<Theresa> "Ftisk, use your words!"

<Ftisk> "Words are so constraining!"

<Theresa> "It's not polite to force yourself onto other people!"

=-= YOU are now known as JamesClone

<Random_Nerd> James: "Better, if anything. I know I'm faster, and I think I'm stronger, too."

<DanteE> "Ftisk, I'll get you out of that box... but if you're wearing lingerie I swear I'm throwing you back in."

<Brian> "If you're not wearing anything, remember that he's Dominus of Blades"

<JamesClone> "I'm a shapeshifert, I can wear whatever I want when I want"

  • DanteE opens the box.

<Brian> (Can we wrap up shortly? It's kinda late for me)

<Random_Nerd> James: "Is... there anything you guys need done, that wouldn't require being near Kudzu?"

  • JamesClone mime James

<DanteE> (What does James look like to the Sight?)

<Random_Nerd> (He doesn't have the ties to Blades and Courage that he did before he came back.)

<Random_Nerd> (He's obviously Noble/ish/.)

<Theresa> (He could fit as a demi-Noble. But he's not trusted.)

<DanteE> (Hm... I wonder if, maybe, not being Noble might help him when checking out Noble activity...)

<Theresa> (How so?)

<Random_Nerd> (Should we call it a night here?)

<Random_Nerd> (And start the next one with you guys talking with James?)

<DanteE> (That'll work)

<Brian> (I'd be ok with that :))

<JamesClone> (sure)

<Human-Kite> (Sure)

<Theresa> (That works.)

<Random_Nerd> ___________STOP___________

=-= Theresa is now known as BethE

<BethE> It was nice seeing Oph and Ken and James again! Ooo, and Walter!

=-= Brian is now known as lazarus

<lazarus> yeah

<BethE> Have no idea what the Entropy thing was about.

<lazarus> been a while

<Angelo> was a good session

=-= Human-Kite is now known as Verithe

<Random_Nerd> Oh, and for the record, I'm using "demi-noble" to mean people without an Estate, but who do have at least a dozen Character Points on their sheets.

<lazarus> have a good night folkses.

<Knockwood> OK, so, Ananda is a Mimic mole and we're about to start the disasters that'll end the Age. Good to know.

<Angelo> and E. was _surely_ a fake one

<Knockwood> g'night laz

<Random_Nerd> Oh, and the Thing In The Shadows that's working with Patterns probably counts.

<BethE> Wasn't necessarily a fake Entropy. He is allowed to pick things up with his hands.

<Random_Nerd> Well, g'night, guys.

<Random_Nerd> See you next week.

<Angelo> Night RN

<Knockwood> and if he is, why do we still have the tats?

<Verithe> http://www. nahomilly. com/ueda.jpg

<Random_Nerd> You could try ordering Baalhermon to wake up and attack whoever's holding the box.

<Random_Nerd> If you're really sure it's not Entropy.

<Angelo> I'll do that if I had the tats...

<Verithe> You totally could!

<Verithe> Do it, Dante!

<Knockwood> They're still in Kaerkoven!

<BethE> Stylish doggies, V.

<Verithe> They're from http://www. nahomilly. com/kimono.html

<Knockwood> Well, maybe we can ask Baal if it's E.

<Angelo> and did you expect it will answer?

<Angelo> is depicted more like a tool that a being
