Geography and Weather:[edit]
With the exception of the few island chains and isolated atolls, the four continents are submerged under the planet-spanning ocean. Due to this, weather and climate runs in fairly uniform bands running from tropical at and near the equator, grading off into arctic conditions near the poles. Occasionally massive typhoons and hurricanes will sweep the ocean, unimpeded by any major landmass. These storms just keep going till they blow themselves out.
Habitats and Ecosystems:[edit]
Aside for scattered native plant-life and imported species of both plants and animals, what little land there is above the waves is devoid of life. Below the ocean’s surface however, there is a thriving and diverse ecosystem. Massive coral reefs house countless aquatic lifeforms, with larger species typically inhabiting either the mid-level oceans, or the great Abyss.

80-90% of the planet’s population are Aquatians, with the remainder being vacationers or TRIAD personal stationed on the planet. Total population is estimated at roughly 4 billion sentient beings.

Aquataine is a blue world with a surface area 30% larger than Earth, and a similar density. The most noticable feature of the world is the fact that though there are four large continents, sea level on this world is so high that all four continents are submerged beneath a single planetary-spanning saltwater ocean.
