Sheriff Rudolph Clemens
A big bear of a man with an out-of-style, old-fashioned handlebar mustache, the County's sheriff is a friendly-seeming man, always accessible to the citizens upon whom he counts for votes. He's been re-elected repeatedly over the past thirty-five years to this post, so he must be doing something right. He sits on the County Board of Supervisors and the White Plains City Council, both as an honorary, non-voting member (though his word carries a lot of weight), as well on Board of Trustees of the White Plains Baptist Church. He has developed that sixth sense of the lawman, knowing what will happen before it does, in particular, when it involves the male youth of the County (which includes several of The Cousins). Despite his good natured attitude, he is still not to be trifled with; when he says something, it happens as he said or there’ll be hell to pay (as many youthful male members of this community will attest).
