Shinjo Archery School[edit]

This is my idea for a 3 rank horsearcher school. Its 3 rank because its newly made and hasn’t had time to develop many techs. –Shinjo Jinturi

Trait bonus: +1 Agility
Honor: 2.5
Skills: Horsemanship, Kyujutsu (Yomanri or Horse-archery emphisis), Hunting, Kenjutsu, Defense, Battle


Techniques


Rank 1: Whisper of the Four Winds
The archer must be prepared to fight his enemies in any position needed by his general. As such, much time is spent training with the dai-kyu both mounted and unmounted, negating the penalty for using a dai-kyu while off horseback and making the archer equally skilled in horse archery and yomanri.
As he trains his eye, he becomes more accurate while aiming less, granting him the ability to aim while moving on horseback for 1 round per school rank each combat. Alternativly, he may add +1 per school rank to his attack roll when not aiming for snapshots.


Rank 2: Steel on the Wind
The archer, upon attaining this technique, has unlocked the sheer power of the Dai-kyu. He is no longer limited to strength 2 with a Dai-kyu. The Horse-archer must also be able to move quickly in and out of opposing infantry units to get to the prime position to loose a hail of arrows. He may add his horsemanship to hit TN to be Hit while mounted against infantry in melee.


Rank 3: Hanari’s Technique
(This Thechnique is the same as found on pg74 in Way of Samurai)


Outfit (all fine): Katana, wakizashi; Light Armor, Dai-kyu, Kimono and sandals, Traveling Pack, Shinjo Riding Horse, 35 Arrows of Choice, any 1 Non-Polearm Weapon, 10 Koku.
