Physical Description

Slender and severe looking. She's tall for a Vilani, with black hair usually kept in a tight braid (what the Solomani call a 'French braid'). Her eyes are green and see a lot more than anyone likes.

Background

Born on Five Sisters, Siubh found her way quickly to Lunion to become an actress in the sector capital. She had the necessary talent, but more, she had the drive, and and quickly gained some minor celebrity for one of her roles.

That celebrity wasn't without its downside, though. It also got her involved in a political protest that didn't go as well as she'd hoped. The people weren't prepared for the politics that were being espoused (truth to tell, neither was she) and her fame took a bit of a hit.

No one said 'blackballed', and she kept getting auditions, but there was always someone else picked before her. After almost a year of that, she bit the bullet and managed to parlay her notoriety into a new show. The producers saw it as a case of 'no publicity is bad publicity', and she saw it as a fresh start.

Then she went too far for them. She learned that Difaelan Niera, a city politician, was involved in - as her source put it, 'the involuntary emigration / immigration of underage sapients'. Vilani politics and bureaucracy could put up with a lot, but that was too far for even those jaded mandarins. His power and wealth were enough, however, that all her report did was destroy his political career.

He reciprocated, and she lost her position on the waves. Fortunately, she still had some friends - or at least, acquaintances - who were able to help her recover, and she found work as an Intelligence Analyst in the Countess Violetta's household.

She didn't start out very auspiciously - she fell for a hoax perpetrated by one of the Countess' rivals, and only the appearance of a wild card (in the form of Angelo Domici) kept it from being a fiasco. Despite the blunder, her handling of the aftermath and willingness to be the necessary scapegoat kept her employed, and she even managed a quiet promotion.

The next time something major came down, she was ready. A field assignment was reluctantly given to her - reluctant mostly because of her lack of training in such assignments. She was successful, beyond simply surviving, and when she chose to leave, her employers made it clear that she would be missed.
