Sonia Chen
Sonia and Vikki met in college during Vikki's Freshman year, roomed together until Sonia graduated, and have been best friends ever since. Sonia Chen is ethnically Chinese, thoroughly Western in outlook, and something of a wild child who does her best to get Vikki out and about. Originally from Ariel, Sonia majored in journalism and once she achieved her undergraduate degree, she immediately applied for work in her field. Her wits and talent landed her an entry position with Yì Jǐngtì, (Ariel Edition), a newspaper with a good reputation for investigative reporting. Of interest, the name of the paper (loosely translated) means "Righteous Vigilance" and its often hard-hitting reporting on political/social topics has earned it a loyal readership.
