Spending Destiny et al; rules and growing in power!

The most important thing to ponder when spending Destiny - especially on custom techs et al - is as follows:

A: Talk with your Sage!

Honestly, this should always be the first step. Do note that although we use the MSM pretty much lately, the fact that a custom tech fits into its´ framework is by no means a guarantee that it will be cleared for use in ZHB. Themes, aesthetics, personal opinions etc Sage-wise plays a big role here. Not everything that works in a generic game (or a particular one) will work here (and definitely vice versa).

B: If it is not on record, it does not exist

Our memories are not infinite, nor even very good at all at times. Always note down purchases - complete with full rules notes - in the appropriate wiki space. As an uncommon special case, you might want to keep something secret from general viewing (although we generally prefer that this not be so); if this is the case, a PM by way of RPG.net can suffice. Due to the transient and hard-to-search nature of that particular medium, MSN does not really cut it. Clarity and (relative) permanence is where it´s at.

If it is not recorded in any of these places, it is considered as not existing; for any and all purposes, it is fan fiction.

While this might sound harsh, it is a necessity for being able to run and plan the game for a bunch of fairly creative individuals. Although Argent and Tapeworm co-runs, the game itself is not a consensus-run democracy, and it will not be able to function very well as one.
