Assistant for Advocacy
The Assistant for Advocacy aids with half of his Director's dual portfolio. He attends sub-committee meetings on Capitol Hill, distributes Foundation information packets there, speaks with staff and takes notes on the meetings for memos to his Director. He also undertakes other research on legal matters of national and international concern and compiles reports on human rights policy. He works with his Director to prepare her statements, or the statements of other expert testimony, to whole committee or whole congress hearings.
