Rules for Holdings

Holdings are family businesses or lands that occupy a character's time when he or she is not adventuring.

Holdings are rated from 9 to 4, with a lower number being better. If your Holding is within your home culture, your rating is limited by your Standing. Outside of your home culture it is limited by your Valour. Essentially, your rating cannot be better than 10-the relevant score.

At the end of the year (in the Fellowship Phase), you will roll for Holding upkeep. You may select Tend to Holding as an undertaking, this allows you to roll two Feat Dice and take the better result.
