Talk:Character:Starcc Antonee, the Adamant Man

Is Starcc going to be using Sorcery for the Iron-Man effect, or going for Celestial Battle Armor? (Which is what I thought was going on. =p) CBA would be the more effective option rather than using Sorcery. (Counter-Magic won't shutdown the CBA, but it will annihilate someone dependent on Sorcery for their buffs.) -Sunrunner

  • Celestial Battle Armour. I just can't remember what book it's in. -Andrensath
    • Book of Sorcery 1 - Wonders of the Lost Age. Near the back of the book. -Sunrunner.

Testing to see how this looks. And it looks the same as just editing the discussion page. Oh wells. -Sunrunner.

Wouldn't it make more sense to attune the CBA out of Peripheral instead of Personal? -Sunrunner

  • Possibly, but attuning it out of Personal means his Anima Banner doesn't go off quite so easily. -Andrensath
    • Erm. Committed Essence doesn't count towards the Anima Banner, whether its' personal or peripheral. Otherwise some people would have an eternal anima flare going on.

How many points would you charge for the Smashfists to have Accuracy +2, Rate 4, and be considered part of the CBA? -Andrensath

  • Artifact 2 (Upgraded Smashfists incorporated as an additional feature of CBA), rather than the Artifact 1 in place already. You would still need to attune to them separately though.

And the crunch should be finished now. My thoughts on how to introduce Starcc are that he's probably not suited to having been hiding amongst the refugees, but he could easily have been hired by Great Forks or Marita to better equip their troops. -Andrensath

  • Having him employed by Great Forks would be the most convenient. -SunRunner 18:45, 16 July 2009 (PDT)
    • Okay, cool. Now I just need to wait for the other PCs to actually get to Great Forks. -Andrensath

You know, when I saw this after reading a certain thread in RP Open I thought you would actually be going the 'Protoshinmaic Vortex set into an Aegis-Inset Amulet' route. Heh. --Dakkareth

  • I was thinking about it, but I wanted stuff he'd actually have a chance of building pre-game, and the Lore 7+ requirement alone kinda blocks that. -Andrensath
    • Although I just realized that by switching around what Backgrounds he's spending Bonus Points on, I can get him to the point where he only needs 16XP and a trip to the Wyld to build a Protoshinmaic Vortex of his very own. -Andrensath

45 of 45 Bonus Points. Balanced! Yay! SunRunner 17:51, 16 July 2009 (PDT)
